My vet recommended a course of zycosan for my mare who was struggling with hind end lameness. After just one course of this she made significant improvements and is able to be started back into work. Over the past year we tried multiple different treatments and this one has made the most progress so far. Absolutely amazed with it and would definitely recommend giving it a shot if your vet recommends it!

Appreciate having access to needed meds, the direct connection with the Vet's office to fill the Rx, and bringing the product to my door quickly!! Only challenge I had was understanding the dosing. This is feedback for the manufacturer more than Chewy, but perhaps Chewy can help, as I did have a call with Chewy Customer Service and did not receive the right info. Challenge: the med vial is 7.5ml. The instructions are for 3mg/kg (1.4mg/lb). Soo .. user has to convert mg to ml and kg to pounds to figure it out! ChatGPT calculated 8.81 ml for my 970lb horse. Chewy Pharmacist told me something else (can't remember, but not the same number as above or below). My Vet told me 5.3 ml. Very confusing. Would be helpful to have some kind of weight dosing matrix/chart. Thank you, though. I love Chewy!

Never again,...

Our vet office gave a lecture. They handed out $40 coupons for Zycosan. I ordered thru Chewy. The rebate company rejected our claim without a reason.

Our vet office gave a lecture. They handed out $40 coupons for Zycosan. I ordered thru Chewy. The rebate company rejected our claim without a reason. When I inquired, they said it had to be purchased through a vet. Never again,...very unprofessional on the part of Zycoan.

My horse has arthritis in Right pastern bone and developed a limp, drags the hoof and trips often. His veterinarian prescribed Zycosan 5ml injection per week for four weeks. Immediate results (after four weeks) were positive , he continues to limp, but less noticeably, and is no dragging hoof or tripping.
