I really liked the plastic holder it came with so the containers can sit on the shelf without falling all over the place. The containers were very easy to open and read the ingredients that were on the plastic container. The dog food had a nice aroma and was easy to get out of the container. The dogs enjoyed the smell and ate it without hesitation. The name can be misleading because I was expecting pieces not a pate when it said in gravy.

I always check the protein level for the terriers. Both of the dogs enjoyed this product. The flavor was listed as Filet Mignon. The ingredients are: Beef, Chicken broth, Water sufficient for processing, animal liver, meat by-products, chicken, sunflower oil, etc. Please note if your dog is allergic to chicken this could cause problems.

Overall my dogs really enjoyed the filet mignon flavored gravy wet food. I added it to their kibble only because according to the directions, I would need to feed 12 of the containers daily which would cost too much. As an additive I think it worked wonderful. My dogs were excited to eat each and every time and couldn’t wait until I put their bowls down. No gastric issues to speak of and they appeared to tolerate the addition very well. I think this wet food would work well for smaller dogs weighing under 10 lbs, but any dogs over that, it would cost quite a bit of money to feed your dog this product every single day.

My dog absolutely loved the Strong Heart Filet Mignon in Gravy! She gets so excited when I mix it into her bowl. Because of her size, it wouldn’t be practical for me to switch her to only wet food, but it works perfectly as a topper over her kibble. It makes mealtime more exciting and she cleans her bowl every time. Great option if you want to spoil your pup a little without fully switching foods!

My little picky eater Shih Tzu LOVES this food, I use it as a meal topper & she just goes nuts for it. That says a lot because she’s a 12 lb picky little thing
