Formula changed

My dog has eaten this brand for 3 years and the last two bags have been super oily. More oily than normal. She has had stomach issues and once I stopped giving her the food her stomach is better. There are comments on reddit about the company being bought out and formula changing.

Older shephard and younger boxer/blue heeler love this fish mixture; in the past, seemed to be bored with chicken, beef, etc.

Acana dog food

I am feeding my dogs with this food for about 5 years, one of my senior dog 13 years old suddenly couldn't walk easy. Took her to Vet, and that doctor dog knows nothing! Short story, I started buying chicken drums and boiled with bones for long time, and started adding to this food, chicken meat and that water where chicken bones were boiled. After one month, I can walk my dog again! I don't know why this food is so expensive, and doesn't do job for dogs?

Picky eater likes this one

So far, my picky miniature schnauzer 10 month old puppy likes this. According to the package, this is an all life stages food, so I feel safe giving it to her as an older puppy. She is fed a diet of kibble and fresh food mixed, but tired of the puppy food. This has made a difference, and most meals she licks the bowl clean!

Awful avoid if your babe have allergies

After changing their package recently Acana also switched ingredients. My dog has severe allergies and got VERY ill. It was so bad we thought she had cancer. Everything started after the package change. She was eating Acana without any issues for over 7 years. They should have informed their loyal customers. Never again!
