Chunks and Veggies

All three dogs loved this food. I feel the ingredients are quality and are what I like to feed my dogs. Unfortunately, this will only be for infrequent feeding

All three dogs loved this food. I feel the ingredients are quality and are what I like to feed my dogs. Unfortunately, this will only be for infrequent feeding due to the high price. This is an issue with Acana, not Chewy.

Great ingredients, but didn't agree with my dog

I don't typically feed my dog canned food, but thought this would be a good compliment to her American Journey Limited Ingredient Duck and Sweet Potato Recipe Dry

I don't typically feed my dog canned food, but thought this would be a good compliment to her American Journey Limited Ingredient Duck and Sweet Potato Recipe Dry Dog Food. She is allergic to chicken (causes her to vomit and diarrhea). I added a spoonful of the ACANA Lamb & Duck Recipe canned food to her dinner kibble last night. She was definitely interested in it and started eating. She got about 3/4 through her bowl and immediately gave me the look of 'let me outside, I am going to vomit'. She emptied her dinner into the grass. I thought maybe she had eaten too quickly, causing the sudden stomach upset. I add some more dry kibble (but no more canned) to her bowl when she came back inside. She ate it after a while and was fine. I didn't think much of it when I fed her dinner tonight. I added the same 1 spoonful of canned to her dry kibble. She was excited for it again and I sat with her to make sure she ate slowly, which she did. She barely made it through 1/4 of the bowl before I got the same reaction as the previous evening. Rushed outside and vomited 3 times. At this point I'm not going to feed her anymore of this canned food. I love the list of ingredients, but I'm wondering if the turkey bone broth and turkey liver are causing the issue?? As I said, she can't do chicken but is fine with duck. I've never tried a turkey recipe food before (and I guess I won't try it in the future). I'm sure this is a great product, it just didn't work for my dog. I will donate the remaining 5 cans that were provided to me to a shelter.

When I opened the can, I was surprised to see that it didn't look like your typical canned dog food. It looked good and smelled good! My dogs loved it. The liquid "gravy" was great to mix in their dry food.

I'm very fortunate that my 10-year-old miniature schnauzer Apollo is an omnivore who's never met a food he didn't like, but I'm highly selective about what he's fed. Only the best carefully sourced and prepared food for my boy. Since his primary diet has been lamb and duck based, with the addition of fresh fruits or vegetables such as blueberries and green veggies, I knew the Acana lamb and duck premium cut varieties would be a huge hit with him. This food looks and smells so good I've been tempted to taste it or lick the spoon (but resisted). Apollo loves both formulas (as I said, he's an omnivore), which I've been mixing 50/50 with his lamb and duck dry food. His stools have remained regular and firm despite the addition of wet food. I used to feed him an hour after his heart medicine both morning and evening, but now he comes pawing at me a half hour sooner, so I know this new taste sensation is a much-anticipated special meal for him. Feeding this to him exclusively would be costly for me, as it would certainly be for a much larger dog, but to keep my boy happy I'll continue to mix the canned with his dry. Highly recommended for nutritional value and palatability.

I have wanted to try a variety meat dog food for a while now. I have a 12 year old Scottie who loves her food. This is a stew type of food with the meat shaped into thick noodles about 2 inches long. You can also see pieces of carrot in there. Everything resides in a thick gravy. I think it would be suitable for even a smaller dog than mine as everything is very soft and chewy. It does not have a bad smell when the can is opened. My dog gobbles it down. I've been using it as a topper for her dry food. My only problem is that I tend to give her too much since they are full sized cans. I am accustomed to using the small cans.

This looks really good. The pieces were a bit long and I had to cut them up for a little 6 pound dog. Meaty and full of gravy. I had to slow my dogs down from gulping

My boy Randall loves this food. I love the fact there are veggies & fruit in this food. I have also gave it to some of our daycare/boarding dogs. They don't always eat their kibble so I mix it with a little bit of canned. Its clean plate club for all of the dogs that tried the Acana chunks. I will make sure that we always have it at the kennel and I will tell all my clients about it. ALSO no poop issues.
