I would not recommend them for dog training!
As a dog trainer myself, I would not recommend these treats for training. Besides the high price and very small size bag, the treats themselves are too big for the amount of repetition you need for training. And when you try to break them in half, because they are the perfect size to break in half, to have 2 perfect size training treats, both treats become mush and crumbs, which to me is a complete waste of money. Flavor wise, the dogs love it! But giving a whole treat is too much, and breaking it in half makes the treat unusable, I won't be getting these again! *Applies for both Acana & Orijen freeze dried treats, they are identical, just different flavors*

The bits are very small, but according to my extremely picky standard poodles, extremely tasty.

Awesome treats
We have an elderly dog with food allergies and these have been the best treats ever. They are like duck flavored crack for dogs. We give them before we have to administer her medications which she HATES but since she knows she'll get a duck treat, she comes to us eager to get her meds and the treat.
