Adequan i.m (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan) is the only FDA-approved PSGAG for degenerative joint disease (DJD) in horses. Adequan i.m. treats the disease, not just its clinical signs by reducing inflammation, restoring synovial joint lubrication, repairing joint cartilage and reversing the disease process. For over 30 years, Adequan i.m has been prescribed by veterinarians to help horses of every discipline and level enjoy greater mobility over their lifetimes. There is no generic version of Adequan i.m. Adequan i.m. prolonging working life of my horse

I always know when it's time for my horse to get his next round of Adequan. We lose a little something, and gain a little head tilt as he tries to shift his weight around. Almost from the first shot, he moves better and straighter and more powerfully. The ease it brings him is clear, and I'm a dedicated fan of the product. Friends have complained to me that the shots are expensive, but they spend more each month on supplements than I do on Adequan, and I see more difference in how my horse moves. To me, his comfort is well worth the price. He's 17 now and still progressing up the levels, but when he tells me that, even with medication, the arthritis is winning out, I'll keep him on this through his retirement so that he's as comfortable as possible until the end. It's been a game changer for us.

This has Really Helped My Boy!

I have been using Adequan IM injections for several years now. It really helps my sweet gelding who is 22, but his mind is 12. He loves to interact and play.

This works for my Gizmo

Gizmo does get stiff in her back legs and Adequan does keep her joints moving well. Plus I could not be happier with the cost for the Adequan at Chewy. I was paying

I was paying more than $100 more from the vet in South Carolina. The vet here in New York recommended that I purchase from Chewy. So glad she allowed that.

Terribly packaged

These are 5ml glass vials that cost around $50 each and they were all just thrown together in a large plastic container. Nothing to cushion them or keep them from

These are 5ml glass vials that cost around $50 each and they were all just thrown together in a large plastic container. Nothing to cushion them or keep them from rattling around. Naturally they did not ship well. One of the vials arrived broken, so the other vials were covered in medicine and shards of glass. I did contact customer service and explained and they replaced the broken one for free which I sincerely appreciated but the replacement was packaged the exact same way!
