We raise 2 breeds of hertiage turkeys, from poult to several years old. As well as numerous breeds of layers hens, all life stages, and a handful of roosters. I fed this pellet formula first to my hens ages 5 months thru 5 yrs. Now in fairness, keep in mind chickens don't like or adjust immediately to change in feed. So the hens were not drawn to eat it when I placed in their feeders and just walked away. Now they did, however, eat these pellets as the feeders were empty next day. They have eaten the feed but don't seem to be drawn to it. They will go and come back when truly hungary. The turkeys when given these pellets in their feeders did seem to eat them more immediately. They finished them within an hour or so.
Decent product for your mixed flock

Fed this chicken feed to my mixed flock of chickens, guineas, and geese. So far they seem to be eating it. The pellets and small, a good size for bantam chickens or any other that prefers a smaller pellet. No off odors or mold was detected when I opened the bag. I say this is a decent product for a mixed flock of poultry.
Small Pellets, Smells Good

I really like this product especially for transitioning juveniles off of crumble and onto pellets. The protein is 20%, higher than most layer pellets, and the pellet size is quite small so smaller birds handle it with no problem. .It is a nice dark color and smells good. I have a very large mixed flock with Chickens, Muscovy, Ducks. Geese, Turkeys and Chukar and they all eat it well.

My rescue elderly rooster Francisco is very picky about food. Usually I have to spend about 2 weeks switching before he excepts the new food. Apparently Pen Pals Total Flock is pretty good because he ate it on the first offer and has continued without complaints.

I live in Florida and have hens and roosters with baby chicks, this all flock feed is just what they need. Makes feeding easier, simple. I plan on incorporating turkeys into the mix and this feed is essential to their health. My flock loves this feed and look forward to morning feeding. I’d recommend this feed for healthy flocks with mixed bird species, or for those who have both hens and roosters. I was at first worried about if they was going to like it, but no need to worry about it as they were gobbling it all up. I even tossed in a handful to my pullets who I keep separated from older birds for safety purposes just to see if they was interested and they to also ate it up with out any problem. I look forward to buying the best healthy food and snacks for my hens to keep egg production stable and reliable. My flock all comes running together in the morning waiting by the door just to be first in line to get their share. They are eager beavers and the joys I get when feeding them are worth watching them flock together staying healthy and happy is the most rewarding and important part of keeping my birds leading productive lives. This brand also seems to support keeping them filled up as a little goes a long ways. They don’t act as if they are starving which makes me to believe that the mixture of feed is perfect for their needs. I use the pellets because they are older birds if you have younger birds you have alter options to get crumbles if that is your preferred food. I can’t say enough about this brand and Chewy for their perfect product options along with great service they offer. Chewy has fast reliable delivery and this so far the best ordering online services I have ever encountered. I wish more companies take note and follow suit. But I give Chewy 💯 % of my orders and business for all my pets needs.

I like this feed for a couple of reasons. One, it’s in pellet form which is less wasteful than crumbles or mash. The second being I noticed that it has a pleasant smell. I have tried other chicken feed in the past that I have thrown out due to their bad smell. When chicken food smells bad, it makes me wonder what in the world is in it? Then I wonder, do I really want to eat eggs from that?!
All birds hated it!
I couldn’t get my chickens to look at this food. Something must be wrong with the food, because no one went near the food, even when they were hungry. Fail!

Good feed, might not be suitable for bantams

I have a large mixed flock of birds including chickens, ducks and guinea fowl. All of them have been enjoying this feed. So far there’s been no waste at all. It’s a little more expensive than my regular feed but seems worth it so far. I’ll likely buy more.
They loved it
The whole flock loved it. We gave it to our chickens, ducks, and the goose. If you can’t tell by their faces in the pictures, the ducks really enjoyed it.
