Description

Love more and sneeze less with the Allerpet Cat Dander Remover. Created specifically for homes with cats, who produce more dander than any other animal, this treatment works hard to bind and remove cat allergens. The scientifically-proven formula works by simply removing the dander before it becomes airborne, while cleansing and conditioning the skin and fur. Easily applied by dampening a towel with Allerpet and thoroughly wiping the animal. Scientifically proven to reduce dander loads by 50% with a weekly application, or every three to four days for best results. Now dander allergic cat owners can live more comfortably with their cats.

Key Benefits
  • Removes cat dander while cleansing and conditioning the fur, making pet ownership possible for allergy sufferers.
  • Scientifically proven to reduce dander loads by 50% when applied weekly, or every three to four days.
  • Non-toxic and non-oily, it will not leave a residue that attracts more allergens, and is safe for all breeds.
  • Apply on a cloth and rub through your cat's coat. No baths required!
  • Special formula is made for cats, who cause more allergy problems than any other animal, due to their potent Fel d1 allergen.

    Very effective

    By on

Our cat sheds a lot of hair and dander, and cat allergies run in the family. The vet recommend this to help and it's definitely made a difference. It's much easier than bathing the cat and the cat prefers it too. It's also helped moisturize his skin so he's less itchy and it leaves his fur feeling soft. My only complaint is that it is VERY watery so it's a bit difficult to apply.

    Less itching is great

We’ve only applied this to the cats twice, and they have a low tolerance for having their fur wet down, but I think it’s helping. I did have the idea I should put it on me instead, but that sort of happens anyway. Someone had suggested using a spray bottle, but that’s what we use to scare the cats into stopping whatever bad thing they’re doing, so I’m just soaking it on the mit & rubbing them down. It’s actually a 2-person job, one to pour the solution on the mit & the other to hold the cat & rub them down. We have 3 cats to it takes a while. I didn’t used to be allergic to our cats, but something changed this winter. So we’ve used a combination of an air cleaner & Allerpet. My cats don't like it

    By on

A veterinarian recommended this product for me stating she had heard great things from her clients about it. I have long hair cats and my nose gets itchy from allergies. Unfortunately, my cats hate this stuff. When I pull out the bottle they hide. I'm not sure if it's the smell (it doesn't have much of a smell, very light nothing strong..I personally can't smell it), but assume they don't like getting their fur wet/damp. I have a hard time getting it on them as I don't want to torture them. The times I have gotten it on, their fur felt really soft after. I'd imagine it helps a ton with just wiping off any dirt etc on the top of their fur. I took off a star due to not being the best means of application. I'm not sure if in a spray or wipes would be easier to apply? … more

    No More Dander

    By on

I have a black cat. I started noticing dandruff on him. Cats are very difficult to bathe, so I thought I’d give this a try. One application and coat was dander free and shiny. I’m also allergic to my furry friend. Less sneezing!

Not sure if it worked or just over exposure

    By on

I bought Allerpet mainly due to my allergies towards my new adopted cat. I was sneezing and coughing pretty badly after 1 week having the cat. I purchased this just to see what options I have to combat my allergies. I transferred Allerpet into a spray bottle, which helped a lot when applying. I applied it every 3-4 days as directed and rub it on him after spraying him down. I used it about 4 times total. My allergies have gotten much better! I still take otc allergy med once in a while but before I had to take it everyday and still got bad allergy symptoms. Now I can actually rub my face into my cat's fur and have minimal symptoms (just stuffy nose, which I can absolutely live with). Helps somewhat to decrease my cat’s dander, but not a strong solution for a person with cat allergies.

    Solution to my roommate's allergies!

    By on

I bought this to help my new roommate, who is allergic to my 2 kitties. Now he can be in the same room with them, without having a sneezing attack. We are still using Claratin as a backup, but I don't think it will be needed much longer. It's easy to apply, I use a piece of washcloth and pet them as I apply it. I have been using it twice a week, which seems to work best for me. This product has been a lifesaver!

No more symptoms! Can finally be a cat mom

I avoided getting a cat because I’m allergic. However I decided I enjoy cats too much and I was going to get a one anyway and figure it out. A coworker suggested Allerpet. I was going to get immunotherapy as well. Driving home with my cat after adopting her, within 10 minutes my eyes and throat were itchy. Within the first 12 hours I needed to take Zyrtec. After using Allerpet once, no more of those symptoms. I now rub it on my cat about once a week and the symptoms haven’t come back. And my cat gets compliments on how soft her fur is so there are great conditioning properties. The only thing that sucks is that the cat hates it and runs away and whines when I rub it on her so applying it is not I avoided getting a cat because I’m allergic.
