This motion-activated ball is such a fun idea and actually works really well. As soon as my dog nudges it with her nose or paw, it lights up and starts moving, which instantly grabs her attention. She’ll lie there watching it and then suddenly pounce! it’s honestly entertaining for both of us. :-) The size is perfect (similar to a tennis ball a little bigger), I really like that it turns off on its own when playtime slows down, so it’s not constantly running or noisy. It’s been great for indoor play, especially on days when we can’t get outside as much. it’s been a big hit in our house.

Wish I could include a video! Be aware: My 35 pound dog can just fit it in his mouth and did manage to unscrew it - the electronic part could be swallowed, and I do wonder if he can chip his teeth on it - so supervised play only! But so much fun! He thinks it’s a prey item and growls while he chases it around the house. Once under the couch, I had to lock him in the other room to get it out. I put it away, but he is still looking for it; he seems convinced it has a burrow someplace in the apartment.

My 1.5yo dachshund/spaniel mutt really likes this ball. HOWEVER! If you have non-carpeted floors, it makes a LOUD vibrating/banging sound on the floor. I live in an NYC apartment so not only does that mean annoying noise for me, but also for my downstairs neighbor. On carpet, it’s much better. But trying to keep it from rolling off an area rug is a losing game. I tried putting it in a sock, as others suggested, but then it just spun in place, and the doggo wasn’t so interested. Also, at 17lbs, this ball is too large and hard for my dog to pick up in his mouth, although to my surprise, he really liked just pawing it at on the floor.

My 16 pound Cairn Terrier loves this ball especially the movement. She carries it around and can barely get her mouth around it. It still works even though it was dropped it down a long flight of stairs several times which ends up on tile floors. She loves throwing her toys downstairs so not much lasts but we have had it 2 weeks, it still works and she still loves it. It takes about 15 minutes to charge. It’s very sturdy and well made. Worth every penny. I am going to buy another for back up. Very very happy dog.

My large dog (mixed pit bull and lab) was at first startled and curious about the buzzing ball that shook and lit up without any warning. As usual, thinking it was as soft as a tennis ball my dog grabbed it with his teeth and tried to chew, when he quickly dropped it realizing how hard and loud it was as it dropped down like a rock. He tried again but no luck. Soon he lost interest after a few tries as the ball rolled around making weird noises scaring my cats. My dog did not approach it since. I tried rolling it towards him but he didn’t pay attention. I think if it was a bit softer it would have been more enjoyable for my dog. So we are back to playing with tennis balls. As a result I will not recommend it.

Total FAIL

My large retriever did not like this AT ALL. I tried several times to get him to play with it, and in the end he just kept bringing me his tennis ball to play with

My large retriever did not like this AT ALL. I tried several times to get him to play with it, and in the end he just kept bringing me his tennis ball to play with instead. Then I tried giving it to my daughter’s dogs. The cocker spaniel ignored it and the two little ones were afraid of it. I’m going to try my niece’s dog who likes to chase things as opposed to fetching.

Bought two and one broke after the first two times using it. The breaking point was how I’m one of the halves fit to the moving piece inside. It bent the piece that activates the toy and then it ended up morphing due to accidentally trying to close it when it wasn’t sifted correctly. Better similar products are out there. Won’t be buying this brand in the future.

Automatic spin functions stopped working after a few days. Tried recharging a few times- still didn’t work right. Ball fell apart soon afterwards and doesn’t stay

Automatic spin functions stopped working after a few days. Tried recharging a few times- still didn’t work right. Ball fell apart soon afterwards and doesn’t stay together any longer. My dog is a 40lb GSD. Very sad that toy isn’t that sturdy or durable.
