Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Instructions

PREPARATION

To avoid tracking, we advise placing a mat in front of the tray.

FIRST TIME USE

Pour the product into the litter tray to create a base approximately 0.8 in deep (for a 12 x 16 in tray 2.2 lb will be sufficient)

EVERY DAY

Remove the clumps with a large, mesh scoop and dispose of them directly into the toilet* or the compost

EVERY WEEK

Replenish cat litter base to 0.8 in deep.

ONCE A MONTH

If you decide to wash the litter tray, do not throw the clean litter away – you can reuse it (the rapid formation of soiled clumps ensures the hygiene of the surrounding product)

DISPOSAL OF THE EMPTY BAG The CatLitter bag is made of PE-LD 04 (low density polyethylene). It is 100% recyclable and should be disposed of with plastic recyclables.

This litter is not designed as dust free or low-tracking however, it is clumping, odor absorbing, biodegradable, compostable and flushable.

Where is this product made and sourced?

The Almo Nature Unscented Clumping Grass Cat Litter is made with 100% cassava, an edible root who grows in Central and South America. It's 100% additive-free, 100% biodegradable, it has a long duration and it's coming from a renewable source. It's made in Brazil.

Great for clumping, easy to clean, no pet odor

This is the best cat litter I have come across yet. If you have a great vacuum it is easy to clean (I have a pet bissel vacuum for reference). It is preferable compared to tofu litter because the cleaning time is reduced and i don't need a broom. There is no pet odor and this litter is all natural without artificial scent (which is harmful for kitties to inhale strong masking scent). This clumps so easily without breaking apart and is. affordable. I purchased this product along with the corner kitty litter box. Both are amazing and arrived so quickly.

The Best Yet!

I've only had this litter in use for a week, but I am very impressed! First, when it states no odor, there is no odor! It also states that it's flushable which I tried, but the clumps are very firm and large, so after one try I opted to just scoop the urine clumps. Again, not an odor, so set aside a doggy poop bag to handle a few scoops. I do flush the poop. The litter pan always looks clean & fresh. The bag claims it's a 2-month supply. I marked the start date on the calendar, so we shall see. I'll be happy if it lasts a month to six weeks. This will be a repeat purchase!

The tiny particles spread all over the room; even after sweeping and mopping I was still walking on the litter. The clumping worked great in the cat box, but I had to throw the litter out after a few days in self defense.
