My Small Dogs Eat It, And They're Picky Eaters
I try not to give my dogs too many table scraps, because I don't want to ruin their appetites, or give them food that's not healthy for them, so they eat 'American Journey Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food' most of the time, now; I used to feed them V-Dog, but their taste buds seemed to grow out of that flavor as I found out the day I visited a family member's house; they fed their big dog this American Journey recipe, and my dogs were all over it like they had never been fed before. I free-feed my dogs so they can eat as much as they want - anytime they want. I keep their food fresh in an air-tight heavy duty, BPA-free food-grade plastic Gamma2 Vittles Vault Plus Pet Food Storage container. My shih-tzu only has a few teeth, and she seem comfortable with this kibble, so I do recommend it to other dog owners. I do not soak this kibble with water, nor do I add other food or products to it; I keep it simple, and my dogs enjoy it that way.

Tried this when our long-time grain free dog food, Victor, had a recall due to salmonella. Even with no food transition period our dogs didn’t get indigestion. Very satisfied!
American Journey Dog Food
My Golden had stopped eating the Blue Puppy food & I wasn't sure what to change to. Called Chewy's chat line and got some great suggestions & was able to cxl the food she wasn't eating & ordered this new food at the same time. She does seems to have some allergies (she was 1 in Aug) so the grain free sounded good to me. She is eating like a trooper. Was easy & we are both happy!!
Love this food for my senior dog
My senior dog (13 yrs) was developing digestive issues: loose bowel movements and accidents. He was also listless, which was extremely unusual for him, he had always kept a "puppy attitude and energy". I did research and decided to try this food and I am so glad I did. No more accidents, bowel movements are normal and routine. He loves the food, and is back to his old self. I have my happy "puppy" back. Bonus, his coat is looking wonderful and his shedding has decreased. I highly recommend American Journey Chicken & Sweet Potato Recipe Grain-Free Dry Dog Food By American Journey for a senior dog.

American Journey Dry dog food
Well right out of the bag our dog loved it! We were pouring into the food container and she was grabbing bites right from the dog food “stream”. 5 stars!
Formula change, $700 vet bill commenced
I was buying this food for years, and my dog loved it. In the last few months the food changed in appearance, and a slew of gastrointestinal issues and bouts of diarrhea starting happening with my dog for months. After an emergency vet bill and bloodwork that showed no issues, I changed my dogs food and the issue was immediately resolved. I fed her this food after a month as it was at my mom's to use up, and her stool immediately loosened and changed the color it was when she was having issues. Went back to the normal food, issue resolved. This is extremely disappointing.
something has changed
We have been feeding our Yorkie this food for a long time, but something has changed, the quality of this food has gone bad. As one review noted there is a lot of crumbs. Another reviewer noted having issues with their dogs stool caused by this food. We have had the both issues with the last few bags of this food. We switch to another brand and it resolved the stool issues with our Yorkie.
