I love offering it to my cats (3 of them) and they eat it up. The only thing I wish was different is the packaging. It's wasteful and the broth could be better packaged in larger containing that are reclosable
American Journey's version of bits in broth is better than Fancy Feast in that it doesn't have carrageenan and is more generous with the fish bits. My cat loves it!
My mom asked me to write this (since I'm the one who eats it)! This is scrumptious and adds just the right amount of pizazz to my regular salmon entree. And my mom also warms up my meal with this on it and it brings out the seafood aromas to entice my highly sensitive and chef-like nose! Overall, this broth is delicious.
My two picky cats love it. I will be buying more. I'm not crazy about the pouches but will manage considering how much they love it
Zipper won't go near it. Smells it and walks away!
Hooey seemed to be okay with the variety package of American Journey broths. Then, she would only eat the salmon and vegetables. So I thought why not get the package of just salmon and vegetables. That worked for two days. So, its back to the drawing board again.
My cats love these Landmark Broth packets. They are best used as a topping for other food because they are very small so they don’t make a full meal. It contains nice slices of salmon and a broth that my cats love.
My cat likes these a lot, and I reordered a few times, but I recently noticed that sunflower oil is an ingredient in these broths, which is unhealthy for cats and humans alike. It usually undergoes heavy processing and is already oxidized and denatured by the time it's mixed with other ingredients. This causes oxidative stress in the body, and long term, damages mitochondria and causes cardiovascular problems. Remove that and I'd happily purchase again.
My girls LOVE this food. I give it as a treat every morning to provide extra hydration. It looks and smells like salmon chowder and is their favorite wet food I've found to date. When I shake the pouch they come running. I just wish the packaging was more sustainable.
We buy this product regularly as it has great moisture content which keeps our cat hydrated. However, the recipe seems to vary in its quality as there are boxes that she devours and then when a new box arrives and I open a pouch, she turns her nose up. ill try multiple pouches from that box and she wont have it. Ill then find he a pouch from a previous box and that one tastes right. So whole boxes with like code dates/numbers will be different than the rest. Most batches she will approve of but its frustrating because because there is inconsistency. So its a good product except that its a guessing game of which batch is tasty.
