My Xerxes is a 12 year old Rottweiler. He is really snubbing his food so I thought adding some quality beef type wet food with other natural ingredients with no soy, wheat or corn would entice him to eat! And it has! I tried Dave’s Pet food which is high quality but too pricey for me. I liked that Chewy had a pop up to look at similar foods and I chose American Journey. I have it on auto ship which I love!

Changed to Chicken and Turkey Flavors

Of our 11 Toy Poodles only 1 is picky. Elijah really loves the beef and only American Journey beef! The problem is he is white and we started to see red stains

Of our 11 Toy Poodles only 1 is picky. Elijah really loves the beef and only American Journey beef! The problem is he is white and we started to see red stains around his bottom. We wormed him, no change except over the months his lips are stained red. We use whitening dog shampoo 2x a month and after a few days it's redder again. Then his front paws started turning red. We cut the beef 50% to Chicken 50% and after a month the stains stay lighter. So, we are phasing the beef out completely and are using Chicken and Turkey and a scrambled egg, cooked hamburger or boiled chicken. Otherwise we and our Poodle babies are super happy! The quality of the ingredients is top shelf, and we have counted on them for years. Thank you Chewy.

Dogs ate it first few times then turned noses up and chose dry instead

I use American Journey as a topper with pumpkin. When I go with a good chicken kibble, I add the meat formula and when I am using red meat kibble, they get the poultry topper. It is high qualiity at a reasonable cost compared to others. I am happy with it and so are my dogs!
