Decided that after a year of picking up the hard little pellets off the floor and the month over month price increases, it was time to switch from Blue Buffalo wilderness for my greyhound. As it is now $80 for a 28lb bag and my doggo wasn't enthusiastic about it anyways. Given the price point and formula I tried this brand, knowing its the store brand for chewy and my dog LOVES it. As does her stomach. The switch was a breeze doing a 50/50 split old/new. I tried the matching canned food and it was also a hit.
I have been feeding this dog food for years (6 or so). While the price has significantly increased, I can appreciate the fact that quality has not been sacrificed. I have a 16 year old 18 pound Jack Russell mix on this food and can attribute her vitality to this food. Our male Jack Russell lived to 18 and ate this food (with the wet variety) for many years and also believe he would not have lived as long or as healthy as he did if he were fed a sub-par food during his senior years. Now, our 1 year old 25 pound terrier mix has been eating this food since he was about 6 months old and loves it. The size kibble works well for them. I just wish the bag was resealable for storage. It takes the two of them about 6 weeks to go through a 28 pound bag. My 7 year old daughter even made a "new" bed for our old gal out of the last Chewy box and a blanket. It is her new favorite bed.
When our dog eats this food as a "sometimes snack" it's fine and she likes it, but when we fed her 100% with this food, she pooped many more times a day than normal, and the poop was always pretty soft and wet. We gave it some time to see if her stomach would adjust, but no luck, so we switched back to her other food. Now we use it every now and then in a treat toy or whatever to mix things up a bit, but can't give her this for her main diet.

It's great. My dog has slept better and has better poops, its really been a game changer for us.
We switched to this food a few years ago. Started on the dry and added the same wet food after a dental procedure. After years of using this product, my dog started having terrible diarrhea and stomach problems.
I ordered this food because it is just a little higher quality than what I normally feed my dogs. My one dog did fine with it, however my Frenchie has just, how do I put this, developed major flatulence (even though I introduced it gradually). I like to give both dogs the same food so unfortunately will probably go back to what I normally feed them. Good food ... just not a good fit for a flatulence-prone Frenchie!!
I rescued a 3-year old 69 pound (at the time, now she’s 74 pounds) german shepherd and we were looking into the right food to buy her. I wanted something with limited ingredients for only the necessary ones, and I was looking for a good price. I felt the price for this was significantly less than other brands, so I wanted to try it. We feed her this and some JustFood For Dogs wet food and she gobbles it up.
Both dogs loved it, although neither are very picky. As soon as I opened the bag they were excited to try it. I see a lot of reviews about price but honestly, I switched from Blue Wilderness and this was $20 cheaper with 4lbs more of food. I'll be sticking with this brand for a while, it ticked off all the boxes: Lower Kcal than Blue, Includes Grains, Deboned Chicken, FIsh oil for coats, reasonably priced, and most importantly, dogs loved it.
