All of the horses liked it....added vitamins and minerals in the pellets were a surprising bonus....first time trying it !!!!!
Glad to find it available on-line.
Been feeding these off and on for 7-8 years, so it's nice to find an on-line source when I don't have time to drive to get them. They work great in my stallion's treat ball.
Processed grains are not what horses eat in the wild. They forage on grass. My horses are on pasture but I feed these pellets with oats. Getting back to basics will benefit their digestion while maintaining weight. Cows fed bermuda grass look the best. Adding some alfalfa supports proper nutrition.
I enjoy this substitute
I have been only using this for about 2 weeks now, I add this in with a weight booster or sometimes to mask wormer for a very picky horse. And man has this put a hay belly on her after having troubles gaining since her very stressful move. I'd recommend this soaked for sure, only problem for the 4 stars is the fact of how processed they are. They leave behind quite a horrible smoke cloud if you pour them out of the bag but I love switching between this and hay, my horse enjoys it too
Smells so good !1
This feed smells like fresh cut hay. My calves love it. Should have bought 2 bags.
I purchased these to give my two Nubians a little extra nutrition in the colder weather. They have a pasture and eat Ameteza Bermuda hay (that I also purchase from chewys). My goats love them . My one observation is that the pellet is rather large. More for a horse or cow. It hasn’t been an issue for my 100 pound plus goats, but if I’d had small goats it might have been.
Going over well
I am using this for our aging alpacas. One, in particular, is having trouble eating hay due to teeth issues. I wet the pellets, which are very large for alpacas, and the softened little cubes become easier for them to eat. For most of the boys, this is a supplement and treat, but for the eldest and the one with teeth problems, it is another way to keep weight on them. Not all of them seem to love it, but the two that need it the most do.
I'm please with these pellets, because all the horses love them. I would recommend this product.
My horse is seem to love these pellets. I'm happy I can either soak them or feed them dry
Ametza Alfalfa Bermuda hay pellets - good forage
I have fed this to my horses awhile ago, it's still a great product and my horses really like it. The price is reasonable...for now.
