Is this OK for elderly cats? My cat just turned 22 years old and has a potty problem that I can't get under control

Answer by ChewyApr 20, 2018
This product is recommended for dogs of all life stages.

Can this be used as a PREVENTATIVE supliment? Perhaps two or three times per week?

Answer by ChewyAug 08, 2018
This product can be used as a preventative and support supplement for any urinary irritation. However, the manufacturer recommends administering it to your pet 2 - 3 times daily.

Is the recommended dosage amount the total amount that should be given daily or is it the amount that should be given each time? For example, should a cat be given 0.25-0.5mL daily or each time 2-3 times daily?

Answer by ChewyJun 05, 2020
The dosage amount represents how much tonic should be given on a daily basis. For instance, if your pet requires 0.75 mL daily you may administer 0.25 mL 3 times a day.

How long does a bottle last?

Answer by ChewyFeb 07, 2019
If an animal is given 0.5 ml twice daily the bottle should last 30 days.If an animal is given 1 ml twice daily the bottle will should last 15 days. If an animal is given 0.25 ml twice daily the bottle should last 60 days

Tinkle Tonic is helping my senior cat

This product has been really helping the senior cat with her kidney issues. The cat does not have any issues with the taste of the product. The only complaint

This product has been really helping the senior cat with her kidney issues. The cat does not have any issues with the taste of the product. The only complaint I have is that the provided lid dropper does not have measurements. The 1 fl oz lid dropper has measurements so I know how much liquid to give my cat. Thankfully I had not tossed the 1 fl oz bottle out so I can use the dropper from that bottle to measure out the correct amount of Tinkle Tonic.

Excellent product!

One of my cats developed a UTI and I was able to get her into the vet fairly quickly. Two weeks or ten days of antibiotics, can’t remember which. Took her back

One of my cats developed a UTI and I was able to get her into the vet fairly quickly. Two weeks or ten days of antibiotics, can’t remember which. Took her back to have her urine tested and it was clear. Next morning the UTI came back. I remembered I had a bottle of this in the fridge, gave her the recommended dosage and no more problems! The stress of the 2nd appointment was so high for her, very shy rescue girl. I’m so thankful to have had this in hand, I ordered the 4 oz bottle and give it to both of my cats, the other one had a UTI before all this and eventually needed surgery for crystals in her bladder. They eat quality wet food but with both being from the shelter they are affected by stress big time. Grateful for this wonderful product and will keep my cats on one dropper full a day.

Great product for uninary issues.

I had a holistic Vet recommend this long ago for a dog I had that "dribbled" from time to time. Now I give it to my small dog when I see her squatting to pee often

I had a holistic Vet recommend this long ago for a dog I had that "dribbled" from time to time. Now I give it to my small dog when I see her squatting to pee often. It helps get rid of crud in the uninary tract , (I believe) that eventually could lead to a UTI..

UTI =it helps! cat

I have used for YEARS! I have one kitty who was getting UTIs often. Now, during the summer, when dehydration could be an issue, I give a small amount every other day for a week, and then once a week. If I notice an issue and catch it early, give every day! Please get a VET appointment ASAP if there are any urine issues, your kitty could be in deadly danger in just a day. Antibiotics may be needed asap. Not a replacement for a vet appointment.

Recent issues in packaging

I've been using this since 2021 and as far as I can tell, the product has been consistent. However over the last six months the packaging changes are for the worse

I've been using this since 2021 and as far as I can tell, the product has been consistent. However over the last six months the packaging changes are for the worse. First the dropper changed to not be inked, making it much harder to see the dosage marks. In my most recent bottle the dropper is shorter but the same thickness as usual, and the dosage marks are VERY different. Both droppers in this show .5mL but the one of the left is about 2/3 more than the new one on the right. This is concerning to me because I don't feel my cat is getting the right dose.

When pee crystals show up, tinkle tonic to the rescue!

Really helpful to have on hand for boy cats! As long as they also get high quality food and lots of water too!
