Recommendations vary greatly, based on your cat’s age, activity level and life stage. For Adult Cats: Feed approximately 2-3 pouches per day per 7 lbs. of body weight. For Kittens: Offer food several times a day, feed up to twice this amount.
Pregnant or nursing cats may require two to four times their normal feeding.
Always provide access to clean, fresh water. Canned food should be changed at least twice daily in order to prevent spoilage. Serve at room temperature, and refrigerate any unused portion.
The best way to transition to a new food is to switch gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for three days. Then make it 50-50 for three more days, then 75% new food and 25% old food for three more days. If your cat seems comfortable with this progression, you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your pet starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food. If problems continue to occur, consult your veterinarian.

I have 2 young cats right now. I got lucky with them because they are not picky eaters at all. They like this food and other wet food varieties of Tiki Cat (I feed Nulo dry food, also excellent). I tend to alternate different textures of wet foods for them. This is a very good food and I very good brand and I recommend because in my experience it eliminates any digestive issues, (multiple litter boxes are much easier to live with)hairballs, etc. The coats are really nice, they are bright and energetic and my vet is also very pleased with it and with the girls’ overall health and condition.
I have an older cat who has inoperable oral cancer. This is the only cat food she can eat. The texture is like human baby food so it's perfect for her. Despite her cancer, she's doing great and not losing weight. I would have given 5 stars but the packaging is difficult and I feel like I'm wasting some of it even when I scrape it out with a tiny spoon. Otherwise, it's great and has given her back her quality of life.
I volunteer at several rescues and the senior kitties love it!! I started feeding it to my senior guy here to help get his meds down. But, all the kitties here(3) love it!!
Tried this because we had a cat that had an infection in her mouth and needed teeth extracted. While we stabilized her and got the infection under control, she didn't want to eat... My cats don't particularly like seafood (Yes, they are weird). Well, she LOVED this food and now that she is recovered, she refuses to go back to the regular wet food. It seems addictive - all the cats prefer it. We are mixing 1 pouch with 1 can regular food to try to get them back to their regular diet - with limited success. Definitely recommend.
My 3 cats are super picky. It is a struggle keeping them fed, and I have to keep trying different foods. At least 1 of them will eat this, but only if I only feed it every few days. I am sure the food is fine, and probably most cats would love this.
My cats like most puree type food. This particular kind is denser. I probably will continue to buy if it is on sale.
I have the finickiest cat that ever walked the earth. Until now she would only eat squeeze ups with any regularity, which aren't meant for a meal. She'd starve herself instead of eating or just lick the liquid off of what I gave her. This is almost perfect for her. I have to add a little water and mix it, but she is eating it. And she's eating it even after several days, another plus. She's famous for eating something a time or 2 and then refusing. Our cats that like chunky food aren't as crazy about it.
My cat enjoys two types of food: mousse or shreds in broth. This is mousse type food and wanted to try this one for him. He loved it immediately and sticks his whole face into it .
Most Tiki Cat foods look and smell so good that I have to remember not to nibble on it. Not this! The smell was not attractive, it is very difficult to get out of the pouch because it sticks (compared to meat & broth pouches), and most important, my cat did not like it. She licked at it a little but would not eat it. This might be good for a cat that does not like to chew or who might like it if spread on kibble. If your cat prefers smooth homogeneous mashed food, he might like this.
my cat doesn't eat this one at all
