Is there a difference in formulation between this item and item #212463 or is just that this powder is premeasured and in a capsule?

Can the capsules be broken apart and sprinkle on the dry food? There are a total of three cats in the house and only one has a "stone" issue.

Answer by ChewyJun 18, 2020
The ingredients are water and fat soluble so they can be administered via capsules or sprinkled onto any type of food or diet. These capsules are turkey flavored and Natura Petz Organics also palletized their herbal and marine formulations with real turkey to increase a cat or dog’s receptivity to flavor and scent.

What's the difference between the starter kit (this) and the 90 capsule, "Break it up"

Answer by ChewyDec 07, 2020
The only difference is the price and amount of capsules. Stone Breaker Starter is a an introductory 30 capsule option; Break it Up is available in 90 capsules or a favored meal topper. The formulation is the same.

How effective is it in male cats

Answer by ChewySep 24, 2021
In studies involving people and pets, 94% of small bladder or kidney stones, crystals, calculi and gravel were eliminated within 2 weeks of use.* Larger stones or multiple stones may likely take longer to fully break down. Typically expect to use this product for approximately 2-3 months for dogs and cats under 50 pounds and 4-6 months for dogs over 50 pounds . Time frame is dependent on size of stone, location, diet and if this is the first stone or urinary tract infection cycle.

I was reviewing the label and noticed that a stick had been placed over the box. Once removed it was evident that it was done to cover up the expiration date which had been deliberately marked over with black marker. This leads me to believe that the product has been sitting on the shelf and being sold under false pretenses.

Box had been colored on to black out certain information. A sticker was printed to cover a blacked out expiration date that has already passed. Pills were in a plastic bag and not a pill bottle. I would NOT trust this product.

Natural remedy for bladder stones

I think it's helping! I've been adding a capsule daily to her food, and she seems to feel better. She's acting more like her old self, even playing with her ball

Stone Breakers

My cat really likes the flavor, as I sprinkle it on his food. He is getting a little better. Lord willing, the stones in his bladder will be completely gone.

This stuff is a life saver

My cat had expensive surgery and was still having issues until I started him on this. I wish I had known about it before I spent 12K to keep him alive.

So I noticed my daughter's cat Oreo been going to the litter frequently for the past week. I thought maybe he had drank lots of water but that wasn't the case. I decided to watch him in the litter and noticed there was little drops coming out and it seemed liked he was straining. So I said I don't have money for the vet right now so I googled his symptoms. Then I started to notice him going outside the box with still little droplets coming out. I don't have problems with any of my cats so I know something was wrong. I came across this, and it was hard for me get him to eat it because he doesn't like wet food. I bought the wet urinary food and inserted the food in and he didn't eat it. I then put the two capsules mixed with the dry food in the bowl. I put the two capsules and 5 pieces of dry food just to see if he would eat it and he did. When I say by the next day he was going without a problem. This stuff truly works! Im too happy he's doing better

I keep these on hand ever since my young male had his first episode of stones. He's had to go back on them a couple times, but after doing the full course the first two times, he cleared up within a couple of days the third time and by the 4th day refused to take anymore in his food. That was early this year, and he's been fine ever since. I get a lot of peace of mind having them available to give him right away if the need should arise again. And it's nice to save him the additional suffering of vet visits, tests, and chemical drugs that aren't good for his overall health.
