How long is this required for crystals?

So this product will help break up and potentially eliminate my cat kidney stones to make it easier for him the past and pee them out ?

Answer by ChewyNov 10, 2020
This supplement for cats is formulated to help break down and eliminate all types of stones including liver, kidney, bladder and gall stones, gravel, crystals, grains and calculi.

Can I open the capsule and sprinkle it in wet food

Answer by ChewyApr 23, 2021
All of Natura Petz capsules contain powder that is flavored with cat specific, real turkey palatant to enhance scent and taste acceptability so you can open up the capsule and sprinkle onto your pets’ food. Generally Natura Petz recommend mixing the flavored powder with wet food as cat’s scent palate is so elevated, it increases flavor acceptability, but some cats eat the powder on dry kibble, and every animal is different. If you decide to pill the capsule itself is also turkey flavored for greater acceptability.

does the capsules work the same as the food topper ???

Answer by ChewyMar 10, 2021
The formula is the same, however, the capsules have one advantage in that it provides an exact metered dosage. With the Meal Topper, there can be variance in dosing depending on whether a pet parent uses a heaping scoop (recommended) vs. a level scoop (not recommended). The upside for the powder is that for pets who struggle with capsules, the turkey flavored meal toppers can easily be added to all types of meals and diets.

I have a 14 yr old cat who started having a lot of blood in his urine. I took him to the vet and they found a bladder stone that is really jagged. Of course they wanted surgery. I told them I needed to research alternatives. I found this, urinary health drops, a natural antibiotic, and natural pain relief. We’re on day 13 of the first 30 as recommended and there’s no blood in his urine. He’s happy, active again, and seems like himself.ill keep going as directed. What a relief!

Our 12 year old kitty had some bladder irritation and was found to have several smallish, bladder stones. The vet didn't have great options for us. I researched options on my own and found this. I opened one capsule per day and mixed the poweder into just enough water to fill a medicine syringe and squirted it in her mouth daily for 1 month. Took her back to the vet and we both looked at the ultrasound, not a single stone in sight. She even asked me if I saw the stones last time? Yes, I definitly did and so did she, yet none to be found after a month of treatment. My vet asked me for the name of it because she had a patient whose tiny dog has a huge stone in his bladder and she couldn't afford the surgery to remove it. I now use their other products as well and I am now a loyal fan.

My female cat is prone to UTIs and bladder stones. She had surgery to remove a calcified bladder stone, placed on an expensive urinary care prescription diet and the stones returned within 6 months. I decided to try this treatment as an alternative to the food that clearly was ineffective. After 4 days, her bloody urine cleared up and she was straining less. After consistent use, her urinary problems seem to have resolved. This stuff really worked for my cat. It shouldn't replace a visit to the vet if your cat is having issues but when used exactly as directed, it will help symptoms. I added a lot of filtered water to her wet food and mixed in the powder from the capsule and a probiotic. It was the easiest way for her to take it and the added water helped flush out her bladder often. Shes been taking this for 3 months on and off as directed and shes been symptom free. The key to this is using exactly as directed. Be sure to read all instructions and cautions prior to use. I highly recommend.

Bud had multiple urinary stones and a large bladder stone that required surgery. He made it through surgery, but at his 6 week recheck he already had 7 new stones! I could not afford another 4k in vet bills so took him home thinking we would be saying goodbye. I got on the internet and started searching and found Break It Up! I did not know if it would work but he was going to die anyway, so I bought it. That was in May of 2025 and it is December now; I believe it made a difference. I also changed Bud's diet and gave him a daily supplement to prevent stones, but I believe the early use of Break It Up took care of those 7 new stones and allowed Bud to stay.

Ok, I never leave reviews but wanted to share my story...my male cat of 5 years developed urinary stones. It was serious. We had a an x ray and he was slated for surgery, we just had to get him through the week until then. I checked with my vet and they gave the green light to try this so my cat was on it for a week/ Fast forward to surgery day. The vet took another x-ray after prepping the cat and low and behold all of the stone had vanished! he still had to pass a number of crystals and had one stone near the tip of his urethra, but the less invasive "clean out" procedure (and cheaper) was so worth getting this product!

Seems to be solving a very difficult issue.

Calcium Oxalate stones can not be resolved with the special diets. Have not had formal tests done yet on my cat but I can tell he is doing better with this.

"Break It Up"

Although it is too soon to fully rate the success of this products ability to fully break up all her bladder stones yet, I will say her pee balls have gone back to their initial normal size just after two days. I am trying to convert my kitty to wet food, which has been very difficult. Being, that most of her urination balls have resumed to their normal size, I hope with her X-ray in a couple of weeks that out of the six stones she has some will be gone. So, far our issue is the wet food conversion which is a part of the success of this product. She has already had one bladder surgery in 2024, so pray this works.
