Tasty little chews

She likes the flavor and the fact that they are chews. They are a treat to her. These were recommended by our Veterinarian to support her vision. She has Retinal

She likes the flavor and the fact that they are chews. They are a treat to her. These were recommended by our Veterinarian to support her vision. She has Retinal Degeneration and is losing her eyesight. This is genetic and will cause her to eventually lose her vision. This supplement will help her retain her sight for a while and give her added support needed. I have researched the benefits and compared other supplements, and this one is highly recommended for her specific eye disease. This will slow down the progression and that’s good news for our little gal.

It is hard, dry and stinks not sure what all of the red coloring is either. Not sure about the product yet..

My dog doesn’t like the taste and she’s supposed to take 2

Overall I think it does help although it is really hard to tell. My dog is 16 and give her multiple supplements. I have been giving her the zesty paws vision supplement

Overall I think it does help although it is really hard to tell. My dog is 16 and give her multiple supplements. I have been giving her the zesty paws vision supplement. It seem to help, but it’s hard to tell at her advanced age she like the taste of those, and would eat them readily . We tried the pawfy eye supplement she doesn’t like the taste of those either, but she would eat it eventually. These I have to cover in peanut butter to get her to eat it. I’ve crumbled it into her food she eats around it or doesn’t eat her food. That being said, I do think the supplements help. She seems to be able to see better in the vet said the Cataracs seem thinner so she may be able to see around them. I don’t know that I’ve been able to get her to take them consistently enough for them to make that difference, or if it was the prior supplement, which was the pawfy brand that helped . I was giving her the zesty most consistently for a long time . And don’t recall how or why unintentionally stopped giving them to her and her eyes got worse. I Think it’s best to give these things early when you first start seeing the problem or even preventatively. At her advanced age it’s hard to tell her eyes are still cloudy but she seems to be navigating better overall This particular product I’m hesitant to buy again although I’m not saying I wouldn’t but it is expensive I’m being that she needs 2 a day that makes them much more expensive. But if your dog isn’t fussy and you can get them to eat it consistently it may be worth a try.
