With the Animal Necessity Ocu-GLO Vision Support Soft Chew Dog & Cat Supplement, it’s easy to support your furbaby’s eye health. This supplement combines 12 antioxidants that help to protect cells in the eye at the DNA and protein levels from oxidative damage. Quality ingredients like grapeseed extract, lutein, omega-3 fatty acids and astaxanthin deliver specialized vision support for both cats and dogs. It’s safe for perioperative use if your best friend has surgery, and it can complement any traditional therapies that your vet recommends. Vision supplements

By paradaj on Oct 23, 2021

Our vet ophthalmologist recommended we give these to our maltese to help in retina eye disease. The capsules are easier, as we can spread them on the food. The chews are not for every dog's taste.

    So excited to have these.

By Reta on Sep 29, 2021

Every Cockerspaniel i have had has developed eye issues or lost their ability to see. I have started my 9 year old on these and I can already see some clearing. So excited to think we can prevent or lessen eye issues.

    YIPPEE!! SHE LIKES IT!

    By Sophied21 on Jun 10, 2021

1st & Foremost I want to thank Chewy for their phenomenal Customer Service. I tried giving my little senior Bichon the Ocu-Glo Capsules and they did NOT agree with her. I contacted Chewy CS and they helped me out immediately - no questions asked. They also recommended the soft chew version of this supplement to see if this would work better for her, especially since my Vet said this should really help my little girls cataracts. Well, Chewy shipped my order immediately and I received it overnight if you can believe that?? WOW!! However, I was tickled pink when my little Sophie had no trouble gobbling up this soft chew. What a HUGE relief. I look forward to seeing some positive changes 1st & Foremost I want to thank Chewy for their phenomenal Customer Service. So far, so good.

By AdoptSeniorPets on May 24, 2021

Our vet suggested this for our 12 yr old dachshund's aging eyes. He is a standard dachshund and takes one at breakfast and one at supper. He has no ill effects from them. They do smell bad as some have mentioned, but my dog, who eats anything, doesn't care. He eats them readily like treats. They are a little dense and I break them up into two or three pieces and he chews them with no problem. I can't say if they are helping him but we do whatever we can to keep him fully operative so, in case they do help, I'll keep buying them.

Same great product in a chew, but very expensive

By Noelsmom on Apr 22, 2021

This review is no reflection on Chewy. Chewy rocks! This product has the ingredients just like the other forms available. However, be aware, instead of one a day for up to 30lb, like the other forms of this supplement (pill, capsule), the chew requires two chews a day. This gets very expensive very quickly. Ocu Glo in general is very expensive for a supplement, I wish I could find a company that makes the same ingredients but does not charge a ridiculous amount of money, but this is all I can find for now. I’m going back to the capsules, shame because my dog likes these because they are treats to her. With the other meds she is on, I just can’t afford the chews. I would think the average person couldn’t afford the chews either. The pill form always explodes when she bites down on it and it looks like a blood bath, so that’s a no go. Defiantly going to stick with the capsules, even though those are super expensive for a bottle as well. Whoever makes these same ingredients, for less, will make a very good living, so many people like myself have been stuck for years with Ocu Glo. … more

Finally a vision supplement I love

By Cleo on Apr 30, 2021

I'm an eight year old Cocker Spaniel with cataracts and progressive retinal atrophy (PRA). My opthalmologist recommended Ocu-glo for eye health but I won't take capsules and I don't like the taste of the powered form. The Ocu-glo chews are tasty and now I love my new nutritious treats.

    Great product

By Barb on Mar 8, 2021

I have used the soft gel version and they just seem to be too big for my french bulldog. He does eat these with no issue. He has an injury from a cat scratch that led to lens replacement and eye repair. These seem to help quite a bit with dry eye. His eyes sparkle when he's taking this supplement.

    My dog won’t eat it

    By AmandaK on Jan 19, 2021 top500Contributor

I was giving my dog the powder capsule form. She isn’t crazy about it but she has been taking it. I thought she might prefer the soft chews but I was wrong. They have a strong smell but the smell is similar to treats that my dog has eaten before. I can’t get her to taste these chews. She backs away from them. I have made several attempts and she won’t even put a piece of it in her mouth. Needless to say, we have gone back to the capsules. I gave this 3 stars because I believe that it’s a good product. It just doesn’t work for my dog.
