Great price for this product

It's aspirin. Much lower price than other sources for the same brand.

Need a lot for 1 dose

I thought I was getting more Aspirin (most containers are 1 pound) but didn't realize you need about twice the amount of powder to equal the same dose of Aspirin

I thought I was getting more Aspirin (most containers are 1 pound) but didn't realize you need about twice the amount of powder to equal the same dose of Aspirin that you do in a 1 pound container. Nothing wrong with the product, just don't want others to have the same misconception I did!

Some horses just won't eat aspirin - that's what oral syringes are for

I worked in a barn with 75+ horses, and several got aspirin. Some would eat it with their grain, and some wouldn't, regardless of how the powder was flavored.

I worked in a barn with 75+ horses, and several got aspirin. Some would eat it with their grain, and some wouldn't, regardless of how the powder was flavored. We kept watered-down molasses in a squirt bottle, and would just put some of that in an oral syringe with the aspirin (or whatever medication a horse wouldn't eat). The horses accepted that well.

Works good for old Thoroughbred

My elderly mare has arthritis and is prone to seasonal laminitis. This works good and is recommended by veterinarians. I mix this in a large syringe with fruit punch

Smell? Not great

The smell of this product put my horse off but will try lacing the dose with something sweet.

Certainly Works but Horse Hates Eating it

I have a 17 year old gelding that thinks he's 37 and hates cold winters (we live in Northern Wisconsin..poor guy!). This stuff works amazingly well at relieving his stiff hocks he gets in cold weather. The only problem is, my horse absolutely hates eating this stuff! My horse's favorite thing to do is eat...so him not wanting to touch that stuff must mean it tastes terrible (the smell makes me nauseous)! But with some molasses, he'll eat it right up. So that'd be my only word of caution.

This product has been amazing!! I could see a noticeable improvement within three or four day. One large end scoop in the morning, one at night. This abused horse could not walk and was facing euthanasia. I also use Pureflex from the same manufacturer. Thank you Chewey!!!
