I thought I was getting more Aspirin (most containers are 1 pound) but didn't realize you need about twice the amount of powder to equal the same dose of Aspirin that you do in a 1 pound container. Nothing wrong with the product, just don't want others to have the same misconception I did!
I worked in a barn with 75+ horses, and several got aspirin. Some would eat it with their grain, and some wouldn't, regardless of how the powder was flavored. We kept watered-down molasses in a squirt bottle, and would just put some of that in an oral syringe with the aspirin (or whatever medication a horse wouldn't eat). The horses accepted that well.
My elderly mare has arthritis and is prone to seasonal laminitis. This works good and is recommended by veterinarians. I mix this in a large syringe with fruit punch and deliver it directly in her mouth.
