I like that it’s a powder

I prefer the powder because I mix it into the senior feed that they get. I always add water to the dry senior. That way they can’t avoid the psyllium

Did absolutely nothing

Did nothing for my horses loose stool. The consistency is so thick and slimy I was afraid my horse would choke. This stuck to his teeth so bad I had to scrape it

Cheaper Way to Provide Pure Psyllium to Horses

Compared to other products on the market with Psyllium Husk, Anispyll is the most inexpensive equine version I’ve found and doesn’t have any added fillers like pelleted

Compared to other products on the market with Psyllium Husk, Anispyll is the most inexpensive equine version I’ve found and doesn’t have any added fillers like pelleted versions of similar products. I have an older Mustang who has struggled on and off for many years with gastrointestinal issues including fecal water syndrome. Adding this product has certainly not stopped the issue (as mentioned he’s a difficult case and we’ve tried many many combinations of products, hays, environments, etc.) but it has helped to add additional beneficial fiber to his diet in a way that does not interfere with his insulin resistance.
