We have heavy iron in our well water since we went deeper with a new well. Our pond water is very brown since a water change. Will this remove the iron and will be safe for our cat to out of the pond after using?

This treatment is designed for ornamental pond use only. It is safe for fish and pond plants, as well as surrounding wildlife and pets, when used as directed.

When adding water to an existing pond do I base the amount of neutralizer on the amount of water I'm adding to the pond or to the total amount of water the pond holds?
Answer by • May 14, 2021
Treat for the amount of water you are adding, whether it is for top off from evaporation or when changing water. To treat the volume of water being added, dose with 5 ml (1 teaspoon) for every 100 gallons (378L) or 1/4 cup (60ml) for each 1,200 gallons (4,542L). To remove chloramine, double the dose.
