Can I use this water conditioner in a fish aquarium in the my house
Answer by ChewyAug 11, 2020
The API Pond Stress Coat is safe for all fish, including koi and goldfish, invertebrates, and plants.

Is it safe if my cats drink the pond water
Answer by ChewySep 18, 2021
While it is important to keep the bottles of concentrated product away from animals, once the product is diluted per the dosing instructions, it is then possible for any pets or wildlife to come and either swim or take a drink from the water. You do not need to keep pets and wildlife away from the water.

Can this be used in aquariums also? Second question will this help with well water?
Answer by ChewyFeb 04, 2019
This may be used within an aquarium, if proper dosage is measured for a much smaller quantity. For aquariums we typically recommend the API Stress Coat Aquarium Water Conditioner, since much smaller amounts will be needed. This conditioner will help to remove chlorine, chloramines, and detoxify heavy metals.

Do you dose for the amount of water you are adding or for the whole pond.?
Answer by ChewyDec 20, 2018
If you are using the Pond Stress Coat as a dechlorinator to make tap water safe, you should dose enough for the amount of new water you are adding to the aquarium. If you are using the Pond Stress Coat to help the fish recover from injury or disease, then you should use dose enough for the amount of water in the whole pond.

Great for goldfish

I have been using this product for 10 years and my common goldfish are healthy and strong. Some of them are 12 years old. I put a small amount in once a week because I am continually adding tap water to their very tiny pond.
