  • Great food for transitioning your koi into winter

    By on

I have been using the Spring & Fall Diet Fish Food for many years, as well as Tetra Pond's other Koi foods. Some of my older koi have grown to almost 2 feet in length, just feeding them the Tetra Pond line of koi food. I start the Spring & Fall when my pond thermometer goes down to 50' and I continue it in the cold weather, until the high 30's or when my fish no longer show any interest in feeding. As water temps get lower, koi will need less food. They can no longer digest the regular koi foods containing large amounts of protein. This food is a plant based food, what fish will normally consume in the spring and fall colder temps when "animal" protein (bugs, etc.) are not available.

  • Fish really like this food

    By on

This is the first time I have fed my pond fish with a food that is recommended for cooler water temps. They seem to really like it, I'll keep feeding them as long as they come to the top to eat.

  • Only brand we use

    By on

We don’t have a huge pond but we do have fish that are picky about their food. Tetra is the only one they eat and we have had some of our fish for many many years. The Spring and Fall is their end of season before snow flies and the start up for spring time.

  • Reviewing Tetra Pond Spring & Fall Diet Food

    By on

The Tetra Pond Spring & Fall Diet Fish Food is what I use almost the whole winter long. The water temperature in my pond rarely dips below the "do not feed" level, so I use the fall diet program most of the winter and into the spring. Before switching back to the Koi Brilliance, I combine the two in order to make the transition easier on the fish. My Koi fish eat this right up and I have never had a problem with cloudy water, etc. I rely on the quality of Tetra Pond products year round.

  • Cold temp pond food

Seems to be doing okay for the fish. We have never fed the pond fish before, when the temperature is below 50 degrees.

  • Incredible Fast Shipping

I have ordered fish pond food online before from another company. Not only was Chewy's cost less, their shipping was incredible. I had my order within three days. Other companies took over a week. I highly recommend this company.

  • Love Your Fish?

Hey, my goldfish -- many dozens of them -- seem to endorse this product. They almost climb out of the pond to get to it, they have grown spectacularly, their colors are dazzling, and they sure have reproduced at an amazing rate.

It was very easy to order online and I received it the next day. My fish and turtle thank you very much as I was able to switch food to prepare them for the fall.
