This canned topper is GREAT to help encourage your cats who have a hard time eating first thing in the morning from stomach problems. I love that it comes in a large quantity and can be split up. Both Pumpkin and Mouse love it and it saves me from having to boil chicken breast and making broth. This is a 3 ingredient formula that is to help stimulate appetites and encourage picky eaters to get the caloric content and nutrient profile they need daily. Please read the can, as it clearly states it is not a complete meal by itself and needs to be added to other foods that are considered a complete meal.

Not as good as tuna with seaweed

My cats don’t like the chicken applaws. They much prefer any fish type. Maybe try a smaller pack before this if you’re considering chicken for the first time.

My cat ate Applaws for years with no issues, then a few months ago the packaging changed and his health started declining. Rapidly lost weight, digestion issues,

My cat ate Applaws for years with no issues, then a few months ago the packaging changed and his health started declining. Rapidly lost weight, digestion issues, lethargy. He completely stopped eating his cat food and I decided to try another brand. He’s made a full recovery since the switch. I don’t have a doubt in my mind that the Applaws was making him sick even though he previously had no problems with it.

Actually looks like human food.

The boys eat just about anything. Its the girl whose picky. All of them love it. I will order again but it will be the bigger cans. Its pretty legit.

All four cats enjoy this. From a human vegetarian perspective, I wish it had more broth as it seems a bit dry, but they like it and it’s all that matters.

GREAT food though understandably pricey

This is REAL chicken, white meat chicken that’s been shredded with a clear chicken broth and rice. My furbies LOVE it but since I have 5 I have to use this basically for treats or “Sunday dinners”. I love that it’s a favorite (well, currently but we all know cats) and if they just like this for a relatively short time, that’s okay too. Applaws makes GREAT cat food but this is their favorite so for me and their Dad this is a win-win! And Chewy? What can I say that hasn’t already been said? They are such an outstanding company and their customer service department is THE best! A HUGE “thank you” to all at Chewy!
