I have been buying applaws for over a year now and things have been pretty good. I purchased this because some of the reviews said that it had more liquid and smaller shreds and I thought it would keep me from having to break it up so much and it is all that but the problem is that none of my cats will eat it. I have 6 cats and none of them will eat it. I really tried but now I'm stuck with 14 cans that will probably be thrown away because I won't even want to give it away. A very expensive mistake.
Trying different foods for my almost adult kitties. They barely tasted it.
My kitten absolutely loves this, but I am only giving it one star because the label is misleading. It is only a food TOPPER and NOT A COMPLETE KITTEN FOOD. The can says kitten food. If you don’t read the detailed description you would have no idea that it lacks nutritional value as a food. This is especially horrible for a kitten food being that kittens need so much nutrition to grow properly. Thank God I feed different foods at each meal and she didn’t eat this exclusively. Even so, I still feel awful for feeding her this as a meal and reading the reviews, I’m clearly not the only one making this mistake.
I have an elderly kitty with super sensitive stomach issues and he’s done wonderfully with this kitten food. The limited ingredients make a difference as does the smaller flax and extra broth. It does have a lower protein count, so I give him a little extra dry to offset. Wish it was cheaper but I fell that way about a lot of things in life!
The only difference between Adult Tuna and Kitten is the size of the shredded Tuna. Kitten has more fish broth, and the shred of the Tuna is smaller. My cats (Adult) prefer the smaller pieces of the Kitten, and it's a great way to get moisture in their diet. The only drag is the cost.
Our recently adopted two black kittens love this kitten food. It is gone in just minutes after being served.
love this stuff, would eat it myself probably - but the cats are 50/50 on it depending on their mood
I have a super picky eating adult cat, and a kitten with sensitive digestion. They both ate it up! It seems to be a hit, I'm excited to see if it improves their coats and all that good stuff later on.
MY CATS LOVE IT
I have no information about this canned food. My kittens refused to eat it, I had to give it away. In all likelihood, they prefer only canned meat flavors, sorry.
