These filters are compatible with the Aqueon QuietFlow Filter Cartridges. The 3 gallon filter is compatible with the Aqueon QuietFlow X-Small Filter Cartridges, the 10 gallon is suitable for use with the Aqueon QuietFlow Small Replacement Filter Cartridges, the 20 gallon is compatible with the Aqueon QuietFlow Medium Replacement Filter Cartridges, and the 40 gallon filter is compatible with the Aqueon QuietFlow Large Replacement Filter Cartridges.

It’s quiet but I think it may be a bit too strong for my 10 gallon betta tank. He seems to struggle through the current and every now and then gets pushed into the substrate by it. It also sucked up my amano and I had to rescue it.

Bought to replace a dead filter in a 6.5 gallon betta tank. It's bigger and clunkier than I expected but I'll get used to it. It's absolutely silent and does not create much of a disturbance as far as water movement so my betta doesn't have to go surfing. The price is good. Access to inserts is convenient. The only problem (and not yet really a problem) is there is no access to the impeller to clean it. All in all, I'd recommend it.

I would have given it five stars, however my fish Marvin gets pulled to the back of the filter where he gets trapped. I had to save him twice now but he continues

Quiet is good but dirty fast

Quiet is definitely a plus but what I dislike is the filters become very dirty very quickly resulting in changing filters every 2-3 days.
