Not as warm as I’d expect

Thankfully it does warm the enclosure while my dear shellby (my sulcata tortoise hatchling) is asleep, his basking lamp unfortunately still does a much better job

Thankfully it does warm the enclosure while my dear shellby (my sulcata tortoise hatchling) is asleep, his basking lamp unfortunately still does a much better job. I’m unsure if it’s because of the wattage or if it’s just because it’s meant to produce the kind of heat any reptile would expect during an average night but i don’t think it does the best job. It could be user error, but it still does its job nonetheless the less.
