If “EEEE” shows on the LCD screen, the Pet Feeder has entered Automatic Protection Mode. If this happens, inspect the Food Compartment. If there is food stuck to the bottom, clean thoroughly until food is removed.Replace the Food Compartment and perform a manual feed. If successful, product may again be used per these instructions.

If I put batteries in the feeder, will they work as a back up if my power goes out until the power comes back on?

The batteries act as back up power source in the event an electrical power outage occurs.

I used it for the first time 3 meals a day, now the LCD show meal but no numbers 1 2 3. Is this right? my cats will have meals the next day?

As the meals are dispensed, the numbers of meals on the screen will disappear. At 12 AM, the system will automatically reset and the "1, 2, 3" will appear again on the screen.

Returned this item. Could not get the clock and auto feed to work no matter what I tried. I even called the help desk AND tried you tube videos. I have an older version which I still love. This new version is for the birds; don’t waste your time. The engineers goofed in my opinion.

Works but loses time

I have two of these, bought the first one in 2022 and bought a second in 2024 to try to give a bit more space to the shyer cat who sometimes loses out to the bully

I have two of these, bought the first one in 2022 and bought a second in 2024 to try to give a bit more space to the shyer cat who sometimes loses out to the bully brother. One of the units loses time over the week, resulting in dispensing food nearly 10 minutes after the first one. This allows the bully to eat from the first dispenser then turn around and eat from the second one. I’ve added batteries as a backup and it doesn’t matter, the feeder slowly loses time and has to be continually reset. Other notes: they could make the portion amounts easier to understand when programming. And when you set the time, you always have to cycle through every feeding time. But, it does work and makes it easier to feed them small portions 4x/day.

Bought in 2021, now gives me EEEE in 2025. Do not buy this feeder. It’s designed to break after a while so you have to buy a new one (that’s everything these days

Short life span

I purchased this June of 2022, it is now May 2025 and I shopping for a new automatic feed. It worked great for almost 3 years, but then suddenly it stopped keeping

I purchased this June of 2022, it is now May 2025 and I shopping for a new automatic feed. It worked great for almost 3 years, but then suddenly it stopped keeping time. I would reset the time and it would work for 5 minutes then reset back. It got stuck in a 5 minute loop. My cat was thrilled bc his feeding time was in that 5 minute loop, he was feed 3 times in 15 minutes. Which was better than him not being fed at all.

Was working great for a while then we got error code EE:EE and it just stops. Can’t do anything with it. Did everything the manual says to troubleshoot and it’s just locked up. If we put food in and turn the part that would push the food out it comes out no problem there’s no jams but it just won’t do it.

Happy Cat = Happy Famliy

Our kitty no longer goes around begging for food all day (she has always been fed 3x daily). It is quiet, and will be very helpful when we have to be gone on a weekend

Our kitty no longer goes around begging for food all day (she has always been fed 3x daily). It is quiet, and will be very helpful when we have to be gone on a weekend. The only issue is the food goes back behind the chute when it dumps. I finally put a coffee cup saucer under the chute, and now the majority of the food is where she can reach it. I may design a blocker so the food can't get behind the chute. Still, it is a great addition to our kitty's happiness!

Would not recommend

When it actually dispenses and works, it’s super convenient! Very easy to operate and user friendly, but unfortunately after about 2 weeks of use it just stopped

When it actually dispenses and works, it’s super convenient! Very easy to operate and user friendly, but unfortunately after about 2 weeks of use it just stopped dispensing. We tried keeping less food in the reservoir so it wouldn’t be over filled, we made sure there was nothing blocking the motor or paddles that turn to dispense, and tried troubleshooting as much as we could. But, unfortunately we cannot trust that this dispenser will actually dispense when scheduled. I would recommend spending money on a different feeder, probably even a different brand, if you’re looking for one.
