The info on ark brushless treats says for intermittent use. I havebeen giving my dog one a night. Should i stop that
Answer by ChewyNov 13, 2017
You're able to give your pup a dog chew once a night, the intermittent use caution is on there for consumers to know this doesn't replace the dog's food.

New Formulation Makes Product Inedible

Agree with all the recent horrible reviews. We have been ordering Ark Naturals Brushless Toothpaste Small Gluten-Free Dental Dog Treats for several years for our 10lb Yorkie, alternating between these and Enzyme sticks throughout the week. He used to love these. However, the new formulation makes the ingredients so hard, including the toothpaste, that he cannot eat these anymore. They look and feel different, both visually and texture wise. I originally thought Chewy may have sent me a package of stale treats, so I asked Chewy to send me a replacement package, which they did, but it was the same formulation and inedible product. Therefore, , now I will be asking for a credit. I suggest Chewy stop selling these until the producer fixes the formulation.

Not good !!

I’ve been giving these to my 2 Pomeranians for several years, they have absolutely loved them. Over the last year or so I’ve seen the quality and consistency go steadily downhill with each order. Now they’ve been recalled due to mold issues. This company needs to work on their quality control

GREAT UNTIL RECENT

We have been buying these for my dog for about one and a half years now. They are the only dental chews that she will actually eat and they have always smelled great out of the bag. My dog loves them so much that she will yell at me everyday after breakfast for it! We always order the sixty count bag and have never had any issues until recent. (March 2023) I see that they changed the look of the packaging, so Im not sure if they also changed the product at this time or if Chewy just received a bad lot of the product? The new ones that we received are hard as a rock and have a plastic feel to them. They are also quite bigger in size and hardly have any smell to them like the previous ones always did. My dog usually eats these up within five min and she could hardly chew off one piece and it made her bleed trying! :( After calling Chewy about the issue we were sent a replacement but unfortunately the replacement product was exactly the same if not worse. That being said they will both be going back. I went and picked up a couple of boxes from my local pet shop (old design boxes) and they are perfectly fine. So Im still unsure if there was a change in product after new design or a bad lot sent to chewy but something is definitely wrong with the ones being sent out at this time. Giving four stars because this product has always been awesome but had to take off one star for recent faulty inedible product. Im going to reach out to the company about the issue and really hoping that they will fix it. *Fingers crossed*

Hard as rocks

Like others here that left a review these things are now hard as rocks Been getting these for my dogs for about a year. would break one in half for our smaller dog. Now there is no breaking them. The smaller dog will not eat them as they are way to hard. The PIT just crushes them. Chew sent out a new box with the same results.. They refunded me my money. Will not buy these again till they fix their formula

Rock Gut Cav gets Diarrhea

My 2 yr old Cavalier can eat anything and has. Things you never want him to eat like cookies and Mac and cheese. You name it he’s gotten into it. Many times I thought to myself “he’s going to be sick this time for sure”but he never does. Day two of using these dental chews and he had massive diarrhea problems. Honestly can’t believe any food type has effected him this bad, let alone a “natural” product. 24 hours after I stopped feeding him these chews the diarrhea went away. He’s had other brands of dental chews in the past without issue. Be cautious when using this product.

Fur baby approved

My fur babies are always excited to eat these. Nice little dental chew for dogs that have some chewing power. I love these for my dogs. It keeps their teeth really clean . I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

Ark toothpaste

I used another brand for years with my dogs. However, a store owner recommended the Ark Naturals. He loves them and from what I can learn from research, they seem to be good for him and his teeth.

Terrible terrible what happened

These have gone down hill. I've used them forever and recently they are the consistency of fiberglass. I returned a box and chewy sent me a new box and they too are not eatable. Too bad my dogs loved these but are finding them hard to chew...they are like concrete hard. I'm calling the company tomorrow I want a full refund.

Fresh Breath

These toothpaste treats have really improved my dogs' breath. I don't have to turn away when they want to give me kisses. It is also easier than trying to brush their teeth.
