Not Practical
By RubyTuesday on Jan 8, 2021
I assumed this toy would be similar to the Kong, but it is not. When I stuffed it with very small treats, my dog couldn't get them out. The closure on the bottom is so stiff & tight that even the smallest treat gets stuck in there. I struggled to get them out myself with my finger, a butter knife & other utensils. Waste of money. Ruby smsoesn't even look at it. I'd like to return it if I could.

Not too bad for a power chewer
By JustVal on Jan 8, 2021
We haven't been able to find too many toys that our pup can play with for long periods of time due to him being a power chewer (but very lucky this hasn't happened much on things that aren't toys). He was able to get some of the textured rubber pieces detached from the back of the head, but for the most part, this toy has held up for short, supervised spurts when we need him occupied while we work.

not interested
By Regina on Jan 15, 2021
So the toy seems up to Kong standards of durability BUT my pooch isn’t interested AT ALL. Plus the treat hole is awkwardly placed lol! And I’m not sure what you are supposed to put in it that your dog could actually also get out! I’ve had to use tweezers to remove any treats I put in.

Not durable
By DogMom on Jan 1, 2021
We have struggled to find toys our 7-month-old lab/shepherd puppy won't destroy in 5 minutes. This was listed as highly durable. While it's not completely destroyed...yet...our puppy was able to get chunks of rubber off right away. This might be better for a little smaller dog with less chewing power.

Great Toy for Super Chewers
By Cami on Dec 10, 2020
Cami is the absolute definition of a super chewer. This is one of the few toys that she has not been able to destroy. She absolutely loves this toy and carries it around with her everywhere. I recommend this product to parents of super chewers.

Dogs seem to not favor these
By Elbie on Jan 16, 2021
I love the idea of these. I just need to put peanut butter or something on them to get the dogs attracted to chewing them. I will keep working with these. I am not recommending them at this time. Update later

So far it’s a hit
By AnnasMom on Nov 23, 2020
Just got this yesterday. Was looking for a chew toy that will help with dental cleaning. Anna is and EXTREME chewer. At first she didn’t really seem to care. When I spread peanut butter in the treads with my finger, (she LOVES PB) she went nuts over it. Treads are to close to kick it out she she went at it, chewing it for a good 20 minutes. So long as this holds up fairly well, I’d say it’s a hit!

Fun for play
By Jeni on Dec 4, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
Our puppies love this gorilla toy. It's strong and durable and it's held up to my 2 tough chewers. They also like to drop it, watch it bounce in a crazy pattern because of it's shape and then pounce on it.

Pretty durable
By Kristin on Nov 13, 2020
My dog is a pretty tough chewer, so I thought I’d give this one a try. He was able to get the poor gorillas head off in a couple hours, but the body is so thick that he can’t rip it apart. He’s had it about a month, which is a record!

Dog won’t touch it
By Omabear on Nov 12, 2020
My dog is an aggressive chewer so I need tough chew toys for her. This one sounded great and looks like it would do a good job cleaning her teeth.....but she will have nothing to do with it. Just looks at it and walks away.
