My dog is a diabetic. Cam she safely use this toothpaste? We don't want any form of sugar in it.

Minty

My pup liked the toothbrush until I put this on it. I tasted it myself. Yuck. The chicken flavor is imperceptable and the mint is overpowering.

Doesn't Stick to toothbrush or teeth

I found this not to stick to my dogs teeth or the toothbrush, so it was gone right a way and did not really seem "brush her teeth".

My dogs acted like this was the worst taste they ever had. They would rather get their teeth brushed without toothpaste. they couldn't get past the smell of the mint. they do not like mint. if it was more chicken flavored then maybe they would like it, but it clearly wasn't.

This toothpaste works great

My dog seems to like this toothpaste. When she sees me coming with the tooth brush, she sits quietly and lets me brush her teeth. At a recent vet appointment, I was told to keep doing what I am doing as my pup's teeth looked fantastic. I brush her teeth daily and will continue to do the same.

Unpleasant

I bought this toothpaste thinking my dog Teddy would like the chicken flavor. It isn’t just chicken flavored but mint scented and the combination of the two creates a very unpleasant smell, especially for me. I can’t get near it!
