I bought three feeders that were advertised as squirrel proof. This one has, so far, lived up to that description. I like the design. It seems to thrawt squirrels efforts to get to the seed. And the birds have found it and flocked to it. My experience with efforts to keep squirrels from hogging the feeders, emptying them, scaring the birdfs away, or worse breaking the feeders, makes me hesitant tio claim victory for this one. But, I am hopeful

Well made and looks durable

This metal bird feeder replaces my old wood one and I think it will last longer. Had a few bumps getting it mounted but it is up and I like it!

The blue jays like it

Those prima donna blue jays snub my other feeders. They eat from this. It was missing the black mylar strips that you're supposed to use to cover the holes and keep

Squirrel proof bird feeder

This feeder is not squirrel proof. My smart squirrels found the two small holes in bottom and eat from them. Fattest squirrels around!

Would be great if the seed flowed toward the opening

This outdoor feeder has many great features. Low price, it's squirrel proof, and can be set to only allow small birds or heavier birds to feed. It's well made, strong

This outdoor feeder has many great features. Low price, it's squirrel proof, and can be set to only allow small birds or heavier birds to feed. It's well made, strong and durable metal, and has a large seed capacity. However, the seed doesn't move, so when seed is added to the hopper, it stays in place, and when birds eat from the slots, they can't reach the rest of the seed. The feeder should slant forward, so seed would move to fill the feeding slots. But I have to manually tip the feeder to move the seed to the slots. I'm going to try to add a wedge of some kind to help the seed flow from back to the front feeding slots.

Very sturdy. Squirrels hate them.

I bought these to replace two that I put up about 3 years ago and they look identical. If they last as long as the first two these will be the last I will need since

Very Heavy and Very Sturdy.

This is very heavy and bends my pole over too far for the birds to use. But it is strong.

That it would repel squirrels.

The wild birds took to it immediately and without squirrel interference.
