Finally! Something that works!
By Beth on Feb 22, 2021
We have a "squirrel proof" bird feeder that is supposed to keep squirrels out. However, our squirrels are persistent and figured out how to get in from the bottom of the cage where the opening was a little larger around the edges. I even ordered a different squirrel proof bird feeder and it kept the squirrel out but the bird feeder design resulted in half of the bird seed spilling in the ground, so I returned it and received a full refund from Wayfair. I ordered the Two-Way Squirrel Baffle and it has solved our squirrel problem. Hallelujah!

Big and sturdy

This is a well made Squirrel baffle. I have only used it over the top of the feeder and hanging from a tree (no poles). I primarily use it as a rain guard over the feeder and have not seen any squirrels trying to get to the feeder. Given time, I'm sure they will be trying. It is a lot larger than most rain guards which is great, but I wish it were clear so I can see the birds feeding when I look out the window. It does get crooked easily from the wind blowing it. The large part swivels on the rounded piece that is connected to the hook. Maybe it has to have some swivel to it to work for the squirrels so that they get knocked a little off balance. I now have 2 of these, so yes, I would This is a well made Squirrel baffle. I have only used it over the top of the feeder and hanging from a tree (no poles). In my case I can do this in front of the house, but in the back yard because of the slope of the ground, etc., I need a clear one to be able to see the birds. … more

One problem.
By ShortGrandma on Feb 28, 2021
Hole was too big to attach baffle to pole of our bird feeder. Husband had to use tape to hold it in place. Squirrels started hanging underneath baffle and trying to chew through the tape. Husband put hot pepper all around the tape. It’s been very inconvenient. So far they haven’t gotten above the baffle, but they keep trying. Very annoying!

Great quality
By Kathi on Feb 10, 2021
We have had problems with squirrels jumping from a limb to our feeders. We did have one that climbed down the rope, land on the baffle and then did get to the feeder. We lowered the rope from the limb to the baffle and that stopped him. The construction is hardy, and we like the pivoting action. If they figure it out again, we may spray the baffle with W-D or silicon. Good product, good price, good service, good delivery.

Works great!
By Baffle on Feb 1, 2021
I bought this to stop crows from eating out of the one of my feeders. I have an open tray which attracts everyone from a wren, cardinal, blue jay, and woodpecker. The crows were taking all the peanuts! This baffle has worked perfectly. It even helps keep food dry (unless I get horizontal rains!)

no more squirrel problem
By Squirreldespiser on Feb 8, 2021
I was out of town when this arrived and my wife easily installed it. At this moment I have birds on the feeder and squirrels on the ground and not on the feeder. Haven't had any issues with squirrels on the feeder at all since it was installed.

No match for determined squirrels
By Atticus on Feb 27, 2021
Disappointed that the baffles (I bought two) were not effective at all. Squirrels just clambered over them and helped themselves...sometimes just leaning over the edge and eating upside down.

Finally, something that works against my squirrel "raiders"....they've tried to circumvent it to get to my suet, but it has successfully thwarted every one of their assaults!!

Well worth the money
By Jeanne on Jan 6, 2021
This is nicer than I expected for the price. Everything except the feeding tube is metal. There’s a nice big cover on top and big enough perch around the bottom. It’s a great deal and a nice looking little feeder
