I want to hang my bird feeder in a tree so how is there a way for the baffle to attach to the birdfeeder is there a hook underneath the baffle

This baffle can be either hung or mounted from either the top or bottom portion.

Is there a hook on the bottom of the baffle to hang the feeder from? Like tree, top hook, baffle, bottom hook, feeder?

There is a ring inside the baffle that allows you to attach a feeder to it.

The pole is inserted through the opening in the middle baffle. The adjustable design will fit poles from 0.5 inches to 1.25 inches.

Function/value

The point was to cover a seed ring I got for Christmas. It was not supposed to get wet as the seeds were held together with some kind of coating to keep them connected

The point was to cover a seed ring I got for Christmas. It was not supposed to get wet as the seeds were held together with some kind of coating to keep them connected. Works well. Will put it over another open air feeder when that ring is done. It was very reasonable price.

Sturdy, simple bird baffle

Not only a reasonable price, but a simple way to keep squirrels away from the feeders and cover to stop rain from ruining the seed. Just be sure to hang them about

Not only a reasonable price, but a simple way to keep squirrels away from the feeders and cover to stop rain from ruining the seed. Just be sure to hang them about 4 ft. away from a side branch or the squirrels can jump in from the side. These stop them from getting in from thwme top. Im really happy my neighbor loaned me one. These are easy and studier than most. No clipping together. Its all one piece. Nice looking and the birds love the shade.

I have had other covers and baffles. I am using this one as a cover for my tree hung and pole hung feeders. I have squirrel proof feeders. I apply VASELINE to the outer baffle edges, and squirrels cannot grip below. They fall off. Also, slab on Vaseline on the poles, leading to the feeder, the hook of the pole and outward. Squirrels cannot get a grip. They slide off. I also put Vaseline on the bottom of the feeder cage itself, squirrels cannot grip there either, hope this helps. Love this baffle, wide, thick, covers entire feeder from rain and snow, and sturdy hook. Another tip, use an ant guard or ant moat with oil in it, no ants or bugs to your food. Hang that up first under the baffle, then hang your bird feeder. If you close the end with a plier, it will not be toppled off by an attempt by a squirrel. It all works.

Bottom hook too small

My tube bird feeder has a long loop from which to hang it. This squirrel baffle's interior hook is way too small to keep the feeder hanging when a squirrel tries

My tube bird feeder has a long loop from which to hang it. This squirrel baffle's interior hook is way too small to keep the feeder hanging when a squirrel tries to jump onto the baffle and it tilts. Almost immediately after hanging them up the feeder was on the ground. The hook is too thick to bend into a circle. I am trying to use the baffle by using electrical tape to secure the hook to the metal loop on the feeder. If I bend the feeder loop then I can't remove the top in order to fill it because the feeder top slides upward on the loop in order to be open at the top. We'll see what happens next.

I didn’t think this through before buying. I assumed it would fit but I ended up having to cut the opening because it couldn’t get past the hook. Once I cut it and

I didn’t think this through before buying. I assumed it would fit but I ended up having to cut the opening because it couldn’t get past the hook. Once I cut it and got it on I realized the pole was too thin for the screw to hold it on so I had to rig it up. As for if it works, I think I have it too low and will move it up because the squirrels have been jumping on top of it. I don’t think it’s a bad product. It just wasn’t compatible with what I had.
