Is this for the regular size suit cakes or the 2 pound suet cakes?

This would be for a regular 11 oz suet cake, not a 2 lb suet cake.

Sturdy & Easy to Use

I love this suet feeder. The cage is thick and high quality -- with a thick rubber coating. The feeder opens from the top, so you can easily slide your suet cake

I love this suet feeder. The cage is thick and high quality -- with a thick rubber coating. The feeder opens from the top, so you can easily slide your suet cake into it. And, that top-load feature makes it squirrel proof. This feeder is large enough to accommodate all sizes of suet cakes, and birds can easy eat from them. The sturdy handle makes it easy to hang from a shepherd's hook or tree branch. As soon as I put this feeder in my yard, it was an immediate success with a large variety of birds. I HIGHLY recommend this suet feeder.

Suet bird feed holder for wild birds in the neighborhood

I like that it has a hook. I wish it opened up rather than having to drop the cake in, but I like the hook to hang it. Forget the chains!

The suet holder is lightweight and easy to fill. I had a little trouble getting the various pieces to fit together but ultimately did. The feeder hangs straight

Crafty Little Beasts

I won’t rate this feeder down because it seems very well made and sturdy, and it may be that it’s not the feeder, but the fact that some of the craftiest squirrels

I won’t rate this feeder down because it seems very well made and sturdy, and it may be that it’s not the feeder, but the fact that some of the craftiest squirrels known to man live in my neighborhood! They managed to get this feeder down AND somehow pry it open. (I suspect a raccoon may have helped.) Fair warning to those of you with equally desperate/intelligent wildlife.
