I guess it does "some" good, but not great

Nature is very entertaining for our kitties, and it's a shame when the squirrels monopolize the birdseeds. We had to approach the problem from all angles; so if set up properly, on a short pole, the baffle had to be placed in just the right spot and duct tape used to really secure it; one of the two baffles had the holes for the screw stripped, so it wasn't very secure. We also had to consider something above the feeder because the squirrels figured out how to get on top of the feeder (which was devised so that the weight of anything but the birds would close the outer tube over the holes) and hang down over it to reach the holes and they chewed some of the plastic off to widen the holes causing most of the seed to fall to the ground. Oh well.

Works great but

This product has worked as advertised. However, I agree with the review regarding the sticker/label. It is impossible to remove & after several months in the elements is still visible and looks awful. They need to change the glue they use.

Not effective!

Unfortunately this product seems to have just made it easier for the rascally squirrels to sit and eat my bird food along with destroying my bird feeders.

OK, but needs a fix

The bracket that serves as a stop for the baffle quickly stripped out when I tightened the screws. I'll have to dig through my pile of hardware for a replacement such as two long U-bolts.

It's not that difficult

Absolutely. Just find a piece of rubber, old hose, big washers, etc. Get creative to hold the baffle on. As far as squirrels go, get the baffle on in the right position and it's 100% effective.

Take that, chipmunks!

We have feeders on 5 different poles and all had been invaded by chipmunks. Installed these baffles and at first enjoyed watching chipmunks scamper up the poles only to come flying back down when stopped by the baffles. Now they have given up and we believe even moved on. Great product. Only quibble is the mounting brackets can be a bit confusing to attach.

NONUTSQUIRRELSHAPPY

Very disappointed- the bracket package didn't have securing nuts so the baffle CAN'T be secured. Thus, the $30 unit is still sitting in the box. Now I have to get to a hardware store to buy 2 nuts. Just REALLY annoying. So much for the 'convenience' of online shopping. GRRRR

no time for this

I’m sure it will function well but who knows when I’ll get to attach it because I have zero time to scrape the sticker off. Ever heard of rubber cement?

I'm baffled, not the squirrel.

This baffle was way overpriced and fails to work. The clip to attach to pole does not tighten enough to hold the baffle to the pole. I have tried various things to keep it in place to no avail. I am frustrated with it and not with the squirrels. Save your money, do not buy this one. Chewy you need more selections to pick from with various prices.

Like the squirrels but

We don’t mind sharing a little seed with the squirrels but we were losing our woodpeckers, buntings, etc. Have always heard these don’t work but put it over two feeders leaving two feeders available. It’s been in place for a couple weeks now and so far it’s working. Yay!
