Everything I’ve purchased from Chewy for the birds in my backyard, the birds eats (squirrels too) but this big bag of birdseed, neither the birds (or squirrels)

Everything I’ve purchased from Chewy for the birds in my backyard, the birds eats (squirrels too) but this big bag of birdseed, neither the birds (or squirrels) touch it. Lots and lots of tiny, tiny seeds, just looks like filler. Try something else, lots more to choose from. Would love my money back. Otherwise, I love Chewy, big fan!

Didn't realize the whole bag was going to be all big red milo which smaller birds spit out. If you are feeding pigeons and doves its fine but cardinals, sparrows

Didn't realize the whole bag was going to be all big red milo which smaller birds spit out. If you are feeding pigeons and doves its fine but cardinals, sparrows etc can't eat this. At least its not full if dust like other cheaper bird seeds that get all over your clothes and everything else.

Although I was excited about the bargain price of this wild bird food compared to other brands, the mix contained mostly teeny-tiny seeds, few sunflowers, and corn chopped into very small chunks. The birds gobbled it up eagerly--too eagerly. The lightweight mix went flying, and most of it will end up sprouting in next year's garden. If you have tamer critters than I do, this food will fill birds' tummies nicely. But next time I'll have to go with a chunkier choice.

I always have loved ordering from Chewy. I lost my last two dogs recently. Chewy reached out to me saying they missed me not ordering. When I explained I got the most amazing email consoling me for my lost. She continued to reach out and then I got a beautiful card in the mail with Charlie and Halle Berry's names on it. You definitely have a great team that truly cares. When I ordered the bird feeder and seeds the local delivery girl asked if we had dogs again. She was terrified of Charlie who was truly the sweetest and friendliest dog ever. Scared to get out of her vehicle. My husband said, No we are now feeding birds and squirrels. Lol

Packaged well and is probably exactly what they say it is, but I am pulling 1 star off on the birds (and squirrels) input. They seem to not ear it as much. So it stays in the bird feeders and gets wet (especially since it seems to rain almost every day here this year!). ...Also, the delivery people (FedEx, I think) from Chewy apparently has decided that getting the package within 100 yards of our house should count as "delivery complete". I disagree - and am certainly glad I have a handtruck AND that nobody zipping by the end of our long driveway has had a craving for bird seed (and swiped it).

This bag of seed is 99% millet which is just a filler. Very few actual seeds. What a waste. Other people complained about this but the reviews were older so I thought it was a batch problem. As of July 2025 it is still mostly millet and I don't have any birds that eat the millet.
