Misleading product description

I’m very disappointed in this bird seed. It’s advertised as “sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, and peanuts.” When I got it, the ingredient list is quite different:

I’m very disappointed in this bird seed. It’s advertised as “sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, and peanuts.” When I got it, the ingredient list is quite different: corn, millet, and milo are listed before safflower seeds (very few) and peanuts (have yet to find a single peanut). So there is more filler than anything the wild birds will eat, as evidenced by all the yellow millet and corn left behind.

No peanuts

Bought this because my normal brand was out of stock and it was on sale. Claims to have peanuts but I don’t think I saw a single peanut in all of the 6 bags I bought

Bought this because my normal brand was out of stock and it was on sale. Claims to have peanuts but I don’t think I saw a single peanut in all of the 6 bags I bought. Had to go out and buy just a bag of peanuts. Fine to hold me over until my normal brand is back in stock but definitely wouldn’t buy again

I'm just getting into bird feeding and I wanted to offer the birds more than just black oil sunflower seed. I picked this mix because it's a great price for a small bag -- it seemed like it would be a good starter mix. I put it in a tube feeder and a platform feeder, but the chickadees and nuthatches seem to prefer the sunflower-only feeders. It did seem to attract some song sparrows. It's getting eaten, but very slowly compared to the sunflower seed. I might buy it again, but not before I try something else first.

Birds love this! Drew all kinds of birds!

The variety of birds that this mix drew was amazing! I had doves, cardinals titmice, blue jays, a variety of finches and chickadees. The only issue is the more dominant

The variety of birds that this mix drew was amazing! I had doves, cardinals titmice, blue jays, a variety of finches and chickadees. The only issue is the more dominant and aggressive birds win over the smaller birds. I'm suprised to see how aggressive the doves became guarding the food. I placed this in an open feeder, so that allowed all of the birds to access it. Maybe, if I put it in a closed feeder that would help. The male cardinals are pretty feisty too! Ha. Great seed mix for the price! The only issue was the bags ripped open during shipping. Chewy was great with their customer service though. They are amazing!

My birdseed brings all the birds to the yard...

This seed has attracted mourning doves, I think because of the cracked corn and millet. You just have to be sure to mix well every time you scoop from the bag because

Good For the Price

Welllll, I have to say, I was taken in by the low price. It was definitely a bargain. There's quite a bit of sunflower seeds but there's also way to much crushed

Welllll, I have to say, I was taken in by the low price. It was definitely a bargain. There's quite a bit of sunflower seeds but there's also way to much crushed corn. I say crushed rather than cracked because that's just what it is. Much of it is too small for even the tiniest of sparrows to bother with, and it leaves a fairly copious amount of corn dust. Other than that it's as claimed; a fairly good bargain at the price.
