This is the feline equivalent of junk food. My sensitive cat was throwing it up and had diarrhea. Cats are obligate carnivores and the first two ingredients are cheap fillers. This food is alright if you're in a scrape or feeding the strays, but other than that there are way better options

I like the construction of this feeder, e.g. the handle is sturdy and won't pull away like wire does. However, the open seed area covered by wire allows rain to seep in. Perhaps a cover over this will be necessary to keep rain off the platform.

Not as convenient as it seems

I love the look of this feeder, but the three compartments are not as convenient as they may seem at first. I filled the large mesh compartment with black oil sunflower

I love the look of this feeder, but the three compartments are not as convenient as they may seem at first. I filled the large mesh compartment with black oil sunflower seeds, the middle compartment with a seed mix, and the small mesh compartment with nyjer. The birds empty the sunflower seeds immediately, the mix goes a lot slower, and the nyjer has mostly been ignored or spilled -- I'm not having much luck with the finches yet. As a result, I've struggled with how to approach refilling it when one compartment is still almost full. I might just try filling the whole thing with sunflower seeds, because it's been frustrating otherwise. Make sure you hang it out of the way of squirrels, because they like it too.

The hanger on this bird feeder is quite flimsy causing the feeder to detach and fall to the ground with the slightest breeze.

Great feeder

The birds love this! I even put mealworms in one compartment, safflower seeds in other and peanuts in last. They're going nuts over this feeder. Had to fill twice

Arrived late and very poorly packaged, multiple holes in box, left one side chipped, and house was just inside the manufacturer's box with no added protection. Wrote to Chewy with pictures and was told "I can't see the damage". Seemed nicely built but was not giving something looking in that condition as a gift so gave it away.

Cute Feeder

This is a cute feeder but it could use some improvement. I first observed that I needed to remove the wire hanger in order to take the roof off to access the food

This is a cute feeder but it could use some improvement. I first observed that I needed to remove the wire hanger in order to take the roof off to access the food compartments. Then I noticed that some birds had difficulty perching on the platform as it is extremely narrow. Maybe extend the platform or add thin metal roosting bars. I do like the individual feeding chambers - there are 3. We ended up using this "house" as a ground feeder placed upon a tree stump.
