Would this be a good chicken feed?
Answer by ChewyOct 31, 2018
This food is recommended for wild birds like finches, sparrows, juncos, cardinals, towhees, quail, doves, and buntings.

My back yard has many feeders but birds often throw out seeds that are like tillers causing weeds. Does this bag go thin seed like this
Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2019
This bird food mix contains grain products (blend of milo and cut corn), white proso millet and black oil sunflower seeds.

Is this a good choice for Northeast Ohio. I like to put seed out in the winter when the ground is frozen. I do live in an extremely rural area (surrounded by woods, fields and corn fields). If not what is the best blend of seed? Thank you.
Answer by ChewySep 17, 2018
This food is suitable for winter feeding.

I was looking for powderless bird food and this popped up (Audubon Park Wild Bird Food). Is it powderless? Thank you
Answer by ChewyFeb 26, 2019
None of their products are made with powder. Sometimes cracked corn or peanuts will create a powder-looking substance in the bag due to being shuffled around during shipping and handling.

This bird food is a difficult mix to deal with in ordinary bird feeders because there are both large pieces (whole sunflower seeds) but a lot (A LOT) of millet, which pours right through feeders that have small openings to feed at. I filled my feeder and watched as 5# of feed poured straight to the ground. Feeders with screens (like for finches) don't work becasue then the bigger seeds can't be accessed. Not a good mix.

mediocre food

This is about the worst wild bird food I have ever received. It is full of things (the larger red seeds) that is really not eaten by birds. There is a tremendous amount of waste. First downright lousy thing I have ever gotten from Chewy. Will never order this again. NOT recommended.

Disappointed!

I've been feeding my outdoor birds your Harvest brand bird food and they love it. Since they were eating so much this spring, I decided to get a less expense brand. Big mistake! After a few days I noticed that I wasn't seeing a lot of my usual birds. No woodpeckers, blue birds, cardinals, blues jays, etc. And there was a lot of the food on the ground. So I ordered the Harvest brand again and the birds are starting to come back. Since I don't want to waist the Audubon seeds, I'm mixing a little of it into the Harvest brand until it's all gone. I liked the idea of paying less for the food, but not if my birds don't like it!

Good price and value

My birds won't let me know if they like this as much as the Wagners' But I purchase both and combine them. Helps cut down the cost. Squirrels and birds seem to be fine with it.

Lots of Milo

I looked for "millet" and this mix was listed as "grain products" millet and sunflower seeds. I guess they didn't want to say "milo" because it's not the most popular seed with birds. If your seed is mostly milo and you don't say so I think you're trying to trick me. I guess I won't buy Audoban Park products again.

Bird food

I filled the bird feeder and they ate about half. Then they all seem to have left. Birds haven't came back yet. Don't know if they didn't like it or what. There are usually 50+ little ones in my yard

Great price, good birdseed

Chewy indeed there when needed! Somehow I forgot birdseed from grocery store so quickly looked on internet. Closest price to grocery store was Chewys. It's not quite the same but when you're in a pinch it'll do! It arrived the day I needed it.

Great Bird Food

Our backyard birds (House Finches, Purple Finches, European Starlings, Red Winged Blackbirds, Grackles, all sorts of Sparrows, Mourning Dove, White Winged Dove, Eurasian Collared Dove, Cardinals and Blue Jays) and squirrels really like this food better than any other we have tried and we like the price and the fact that it brings in more birds than other seed we have tried.

Delivery was not good, however as I already wrote to you. As I cannot liv=ft the seed, I needed it to my apartment door NOT outside the main door!
