  • Our kitties very much enjoy the AvoDerm canned food ...

It's so interesting that the same kind of food that's gobbled up with gusto one day can be ignored almost completely the very next day. This AvoDerm brand is one of two that we feed our kittens daily, and they pretty much always eat the entire can. It's nice that there's less waste, and especially nice that we know our kittens are getting everything they need from a nutritional standpoint by finishing the entire can. I will say that this most recent shipment of wet food had several dented cans in it (undoubtedly a shipping issue) and i'm hesitant to use those cans for fear of contamination. I'll do a bit of research on whether or not this is an issue. • She loves it!

My cat is terribly picky when it comes to texture. She has decided she only likes food with chunks in it and loads of gravy. This is it--she loves it and wants nothing else. I appreciate the ingredients and the 3 oz can size.

  • Quality and he likes it

    By on

My 10 yr old outdoor make is extremely picky. As usual he laps up the gravy first but eventually eats most of the meat chunks. Appears to be high quality, smells appetizing and has wholesome ingredients.

  • An okay choice, depends on your cat

    By on

My cats are a pain in the bum when it comes to wet food. No pate an nothing with any fish is allowed. And they really like gravy. I've tried many brands. They've liked others but I was tired of throwing half of the meat away so spent hours reading reviews and thus looked like a good option and avoderm is a good brand. Sometimes they eat more than others. If I break up the chunks a bit it helps. Not sure if I'm gonna reorder. Probably go back to the drawing board or one of the old brands.

  • my cats love this

    By on

Out of all of the Avoderm grain-free canned varieties, this is the only one that my 3 cats will consistently eat, they love it! With the gravy, it's easy to mask any supplements I have to add to their food, they don't even notice. My cats are fickle with the rest of the flavors, but this one is a winner.

  • Not what I expected

    By on

This little can is 2/3 sauce and 1/3 meat. Definitely a single serving. I was trying to replace an item I buy all the time, that is having some stocking issues. I tried this since it was basically the same ingredients and “chunks in sauce” which my cats prefer. Also, since this can is mostly liquid you have to be super careful opening or it spills out. Not worth it for a bunch of liquid, not a good value.

  • A favorite for both cats.

Both my cats leave the bowl spotless. I just wish the cans were a little bit bigger.

  • Tasty "Helpful" Food

    By on

First, both my cats like the food. But most important, one of my cats loves the food and will take a liquid antibiotic that I pour into the gravy of this food and finish up the antibiotic. (I wish I realized this earlier that all I had to do was give him the gravy of this one food with his medicine.) Also, very important, this cat sometimes gags as though there's something in his throat that won't go down. It looks like (the best answer I've found so far, anyway) that the chunks help push down or dissolve whatever is causing him to gag.
