Helpful medicine

My cat has bartonella. The doctor prescribed this medication. It seems to be helping. My only complaint is that my cat thinks it tastes terrible. I have to give the meds to him for 28 days, and he's getting really cranky about it. It is supposed to be chicken flavor, but.... Anyway, if it cures him of his bartonella, I'll be happy. And he is happy right now because I give him shrimp every night after he takes his medicine.

Yucky stuff!

This item is very oily and taste awful, not like chicken. I purchased for a cat and it coated his little tongue so, he gagged and then licked for a long time trying to get off his tongue. I even put it as far back in his mouth as possible.

Compounded oral liquid

Pills would have been much easier to administer dosage accurately, but were not an option with Chewy. Also, better directions should be provided.
