Well... the good news is, if your mountain climber of a dog happens to figure out how to get on the kitchen counter, proceed to chew the very large twist cap off, and eat the entire contents of the container... they should be fine. I of course, do NOT recommend this method as it was a very anxious 48-hours while we waited it out. The Good (for the few days we were able to actually give these out properly) - The dogs all seemed to really love the taste. I have 1 picky eater and he thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. - I did not notice a change in their breath (however I feel like regular use might help) but I did notice an immediate change in their stools. We have a sensitive stomach who regularly has loose stools and they were perfect for those few days! - Ingredients, dosing, and important information were all very easy to read on the label and in plain view to avoid any unknowns of what you are giving your pup The Bad: - The gas. Goodness gracious the gas. All 3 dogs had the loudest, stinkiest toots for those few days. To the point they were banned from the bedroom at night because it would wake you up from a dead sleep. Funny at first... quickly lost its humor after the 3rd or 4th clear out of a room. - The smell of the products was pretty horrendous for me and my family. Of course the dogs loved it but us humans, and the cats, all turned our noses up at it. Which, I guess thats a good thing to avoid any small children eating them... but the smell lingered in my nose so it just was rough. Id like to say that the packaging probably could use some work -- but I think my dog secretly has opposable thumbs and twisted the cap off... or her partner in crime (a cat) helped somehow. I will be buying these again and keeping them in a cabinet (lessons learned) because I do think this product, once their tummies get used to it, has more good than bad!
