Vetericyn Triple-Action Ear Treatment for Dogs & Cats, 1.5-fl oz bottle

My cat had allergies from a food and he was itching only his left ear, so much it started to bleed. This worked amazingly and it cleared up within 7 days. There’s just a little bit of ear wax left. They don’t say this on the box, but use a gentle ear cleanser before putting the medication in and always treat both ears. Since I used this on my cat I only put about 3-4 drops in each ear. You have to really massage it on the affected areas.

This product reminds me of a product that used to be on the market years ago and then became prescription only. While my dogs don’t have necessarily frequently infected ears, they do have dirty itchy ears. I imagine the hydrocortisone is what helps their discomfort when used. I’m just unable to speak to if it would help a dog with frequently infected ears.

I used this product on my cat zenitsus ears and it kept his ears clean. He doesn’t get any ear infections so I can’t review based on that. I use the product to get the wax cleaned that surfaces on the top inner part of the ear and so far really like how it keeps his ear nice and clean.
