I wouldn’t say that it is a cure all. But it’s definitely the best I’ve seen thus and, a good ear wash you got yourself the best option vs that vet bill. If the problem persists. I would use this maybe after a month again for another week. If the problem persist, I will go to the vet after that. I’m gonna be getting an ear wash as well so I feel that that will help because it genuinely has helped my dog ears completely. It’s just that I don’t know if it fully has gotten all of the bacteria out because my dog has allergies. He is a blue American pitbull. A beautiful, beautiful dog But sadly, his genetics say that his ears will be prone to these things Moisture being the worst, and then he has all allergies on top of it poor guy I love you guys because you love your little guys! You can cut the nozzle to a shorter length.

This stuff seemed as effective as the other brands i've used. I thought the nozzle was too long and worried it would damage her ear canal as she was shaking her head, so I cut it down a little bit to have more closer control. My dog doesn't like drips in her ears, but she will compromise with a cotton ball soaked in the medicine, trailing around her outer ear first, then a dive into the canal while squeezing the cotton ball for inner ear relief. She still shakes her head but at least I know it got in there. Then i wipe her ear with a soft kleenex for excess drip, to prevent her from continuing to wipe her wet ear on the rug. After trying it once a day for 2 days then she seems much less irritated about her ears. So it worked pretty quickly. I use it for casual application once in a while too.

Stopped the itching!

I purchased this because my boy's ear got bit/stung by something outside, and the next day, it was very itchy -- he scratched to the point of making his ear bleed

I purchased this because my boy's ear got bit/stung by something outside, and the next day, it was very itchy -- he scratched to the point of making his ear bleed. I applied this topically to his injury (not IN his ear canal, since there was no ear infection, but on the underside of his ear flap), and it was almost instant relief. He stopped scratching, and his ear was healed by the end of the 7-day course of treatment. To note, On day 5, he happened to have a vet appointment for his annual visit; I brought the packaging with me to share with her, and she was absolutely fine with us using the product. I have only good to things to say about Vetericyn -- this is the second product I've purchased from the brand, and they are great.

My cat had allergies from a food and he was itching only his left ear, so much it started to bleed. This worked amazingly and it cleared up within 7 days. There’s just a little bit of ear wax left. They don’t say this on the box, but use a gentle ear cleanser before putting the medication in and always treat both ears. Since I used this on my cat I only put about 3-4 drops in each ear. You have to really massage it on the affected areas.
