Socks do not need to be worn with Bark Brite booties. The fit is designed to be snug, much like a sock, for optimal performance.

Not durable

I have used them for 11 days and the sides are already worn and holes are forming. The booties were not too tight. If anything they may have been a tad large. Her

I have used them for 11 days and the sides are already worn and holes are forming. The booties were not too tight. If anything they may have been a tad large. Her paws are narrow not wide. So I actually ordered a smaller size and they are being delivered. I may just send them back and try another brand. Atleast for my larger dog. I have a smaller puppy that I am using the same brand for and they have held up good for the small size. They have one strap and the larger ones have 2 straps. Even the straps on the large pair are coming apart. So not sure what the difference is between the sizes but the large pair is definitely not durable. I really liked them for the puppy so this makes me sad that I have to spend more money on another brand. And they are not waterproof. Both pair allow my dogs paws to get wet.

I tried many different booties for my 16 year old Sadie, before discovering these. She can't get up off the hardwood floors without help. None worked, until I bought Bark Brite. First of all, they are SO easy to put on because of the opening in the back. Second, they have two velcro straps to keep them in place. I bought two sets because my girl is such a fashionista. If you need booties to help your dog get off the floor, or to protect their paws when walking out doors, you can't go wrong with these. Yes, they are a little more expensive than other brands, but worth every penny!

Did not work for my dog.

I followed instructions for measuring the correct size. When I put them on his feet, they didn't seem to be too bad. However, no matter how much I tried to secure

However, no matter how much I tried to secure them, they kept sliding down his leg leaving the paw area flapping about. Sadly will have to return them and keep looking for something that will help him stop sliding on the floors.
