What makes the dogs leave it alone and not lick it off?

This item does not contain an ingredient to prevent dogs from licking it off. It is recommended that the dogs be given a treat to distract them from licking it off before it is absorbed. This product is non-toxic and not harmful if swallowed.

does this product help with traction and help prevent dog from slipping on floors?

After the first application, smooth paws, amazing! My pup developed cracked pads running on the gravel driveway, which led to some tenderness in everyday chores

After the first application, smooth paws, amazing! My pup developed cracked pads running on the gravel driveway, which led to some tenderness in everyday chores out on the farm. With in a few minutes the cracks smoothed and I was amazed. He seems happier and I can hardly wait to see what happens by the end of the week with 2x a day application.

BEST Balm out there!

My indoor dogs had to move outside for a little bit. They have developed calluses that are bleeding. I was so upset, we debated on many different kinds. We settled

My indoor dogs had to move outside for a little bit. They have developed calluses that are bleeding. I was so upset, we debated on many different kinds. We settled on this 3 in 1 balm. Best investment ever. Immediate pain, relief you could see on the dogs. They stopped bleeding, and the calluses started softening up almost immediately. You can see the huge difference it made in the pictures.

Top Came Off In Transit

My order was very poorly packed and among other issues, the top of the paw balm came off this in transit and there was schmootz in it. Something was also leaking

My order was very poorly packed and among other issues, the top of the paw balm came off this in transit and there was schmootz in it. Something was also leaking in the box and I have no idea if it was the food with the worrisome crud floating on top (possible mold maybe, certainly nothing I've seen before from Merrick) so I'm not even going to attempt using this on my dog since it was bouncing around in the box completely open. I reached out to customer service who brushed me off about it and suggested I try smaller orders. I don't know what is happening to Chewy's customer service but this is not the Chewy of old. I don't know if Chewy reps will even let this review go through but please pet parents, check your items from Chewy before giving them to your pets. I've been dealing this week with products from Chewy with definite mold and possible mold and the customer service responses have quite frankly been an unpleasant surprise.

This jelly was easy to put on my dogs nose, Columbo’s nose was ruff, painful, and cracked. Easy to apply, after one. Application his nose looked better.
