My dogs go crazy for this food! The Because It’s Better Kibble – Slow Baked & Air Dried Real Salmon & Veggies Recipe has such unique, wholesome ingredients and a soft kibble texture that works perfectly as a topper or even as high-value treats. I especially appreciate that it’s grain-free and limited ingredient, which makes it safe for my allergy-prone pup. It even smells appealing (which is rare for dog food!). Highly recommend for picky eaters or dogs with sensitivities.

Dog loves it / Jury still out on digestibility.

It’s tough to review a new dog food because of the need to introduce it slowly.That said… My Standard poodle loved the food, and it seems to have wholesome ingredients

It’s tough to review a new dog food because of the need to introduce it slowly.That said… My Standard poodle loved the food, and it seems to have wholesome ingredients. However, he ended up having soft stools. There is no way to tell if this is due to the food or to too rapidly introducing a new food, even though the protein is the same as his usual food. Obviously, if he continues to have soft stools, I would give this a very low rating. But giving this dog food the benefit of the doubt, I’m rating it very high. If your dog has a very sensitive stomach, perhaps this is not the food for you. If palatability is of the utmost concern, this is perhaps a great choice. I’m using the kibble as an occasional treat right now, and that seems to work well!

The little bites looked tasty to me but my dogs didnt much care for them. I sprinkled some on top of their regular food to spice it up hoping for some more enthusiasm

This is a great product full of vitamins and nutrients. I was pleased to see my dog pick these out of his food bowl and realized that I could use it as a treat instead of food. He absolutely loves them. I really like having an ultra healthy treat with real ingredients versus what's usually in many dog treats. The kibbles are big and provide a good crunch for my dog's teeth. Given the power I yield holding the bag of these, I will likely use these for training.

I have been feeding my dog the Because Its Better Kibble for a week now. My shi tzu really enjoys it. I like the fact that it is made with quality ingredients, no grains or artificial junk. I like to feed him this as a healthy snack in the morning instead of store bought biscuits. He also gets some as a snack before bed. He gets his regular meal at supper time. It has so many ingredients that i have read that are highly recomended by vets, such as salmon, flaxseed,sweet potatos,pumpkin and blueberries They promote shiny coats and good digestion. I have been recomending this to my friends. So much healthier.

Miss leading ingredients

I bought this for my dog because it said it was lamb and veggies. Not until my dog became ill and after contacting Chewy did I see that second ingredient was CHICKEN! Help
