Is this MET certified for pet safety?

This particular self‑warming bed is not electric — it doesn’t plug in or use any powered heating elements. Instead, it uses a thermal‑reflective layer (similar to Mylar) that reflects your pet’s body heat back to them. Because there are no electrical components, it does not require or carry a MET, UL, or ETL certification — those certifications apply only to electrically powered products.

This mat is really well made, the fabric feels durable, the stitching is neat, and the bottom has a nice non-slip texture that stays put on the floor. The white fluffy side is super soft and comfy! That said, it’s definitely more of a mat than a bed. It’s pretty thin, so I wouldn’t use it by itself unless your dog likes lying on firm surfaces. It works perfectly as an extra layer on top of another bed or inside a crate though — it adds a cozy touch without taking up much space. As for the “self-warming” feature, it doesn’t actually get warm on its own, but it does a good job keeping warmth in once your dog is lying on it. Overall, great quality and super useful as an add-on mat, just don’t expect a thick, fluffy bed.

Cats love it! A little thin, but they don’t care

My cats took to this immediately. They said to fluff it up and let it stay flat up to 72 hours to get the fullness, but my cats were all over it when I laid it

My cats took to this immediately. They said to fluff it up and let it stay flat up to 72 hours to get the fullness, but my cats were all over it when I laid it out to follow the directions. I wouldn’t call this a bed, more like thick mat. It really doesn’t matter as the cats absolutely adore it. They haven’t left it for hours an are cuddling together. My oldest cat is quite the chonk (under vets care for health issues) at 15.6 pounds and the other cat is a female and is just under 9 pounds. They both sort of fit on it together. This must be very pleasing to them as everytime I walk by, they start purring happily.

Bed is just ok, we have size small bed and my 25 pound French bulldog can fit on it but I’m sure it would be a better size for smaller dogs or cats. My issue with

Bed is just ok, we have size small bed and my 25 pound French bulldog can fit on it but I’m sure it would be a better size for smaller dogs or cats. My issue with the bed is, it’s so thin. It came shrink wrapped and I fluffed it up and let it set on table for 24 hours with not much change in thickness. Bed it’s self looks like it’s good quality other than how thin it is. I like the white fluffy color and top is somewhat soft. As for the self warming as described about bed, I’m not sure how to tell if it truly works.

This bed looks super soft and cozy, and it’s pretty. I would think my cats would really like this bed, my cats don’t care for it though. I see them test it out, but they don’t stay on it long. I think the “self warming” portion of it crinkles too much for cats. My dogs haven’t taken much interest in it, but it also hasn’t been that cold here yet. The bed comes vacuum sealed like it’s going to fluff up a lot, but it never does.

We have this in the light cream color. Its super soft and my boston likes to scoot it around with her. Now she is a big girl compared to a standard Bostie, shes 26lbs. But she enjoys it and likes to rub her face on the ripples of the texture! Its easy to wash and dry and would make an excellent crate cushion but we like using it for her car rides!

I can’t really review this fully. One cat has and needs a heated bed, Sasha, AC (cat) actually pushed out of her spot and will have nothing to do with it. I am trying to see if Bella (dog) will take to it, but nothing yet. As far as my opinion, if the price is right, and other animals are not as spoiled as mine it is ok. It is thinish, but the fluffy side is ok, Instructions say to give it 72 hrs to fully “fluff out” but I didn’t notice any difference and I followed all their directions. If it is inexpensive it would make a great liner for a carrier.

When this arrived it was shrink-wrapped and I thought it was going to end up being 1/4” thick-BUT once the air entered the package it fluffed up 10 fold. It’s not to thick to be one of those items that clutter the house, but thick enough for my dog to relax on. I have tried it on the floor, and on the bed and she loves it both ways. She usually doesn’t care for these pet beds, but this one she absolutely LOVES! I’m very happy to have this. (will be great for travel as well!)
