Pate's are not winning at our house.

The little 15 year old dog generally prefers pate wet food but it has to be firmer than the variety made for cats. And the cat is not at all fond of pate'. Kitty

The little 15 year old dog generally prefers pate wet food but it has to be firmer than the variety made for cats. And the cat is not at all fond of pate'. Kitty likes the minced ones with the gravy and this brand has been a big hit. So we have tried different ways to use the pate' and will probably donate some to the shelter. I am feeding a stray and it is just too darn cold here to put out wet food right now. And yes, I know I am spoiling them.

Good hydrating Topsy Turvy

My cat loves it. It looks fresh and very hydrating and flavorful. I like that there’s a lot of broth so that I can add his MiraLAX and he licks all up.

We have a senior cat that can be very picky. We give him a variety because he lets us know what he wants. Luckily for us he wants this food. He likes poultry

Change in consistency

Quality has gone down. Specifically for the chicken and turkey batches. The consistency is off and instead of pate it’s 80% broth and 20% mush. I’ve had no issues

Inconsistent

I've been using this food for a while with my two cats, one of who has pancreatitis and hyperthyroidism and is a VERY picky eater (she only eats the dry prescription

I've been using this food for a while with my two cats, one of who has pancreatitis and hyperthyroidism and is a VERY picky eater (she only eats the dry prescription food for her pancreatitis) and one of who will eat literally anything.... they both stopped liking this food at the same time. I've seen other review with the same issue, every time I open a can it's a gamble as to what it will look/smell like. Lately, it's been consistently awful - smells like it's bad/sour and it's very loose. I know there's high hydration, but the food always had a form to it. Not any longer. This is the second order that's been this way. I will be switching foods now and have can's of food my cats wont eat.

My cat stopped liking it.

my cat loves most chicken and turkey pate’s. When i first gave her this one to try she liked it but after the 4th or 5th time of giving it to her she didn’t like

my cat loves most chicken and turkey pate’s. When i first gave her this one to try she liked it but after the 4th or 5th time of giving it to her she didn’t like it. I usually add one or two toppers to her food but even with that she still didn’t like it. I tried waiting one week to see if she maybe just got bored of it but a week later she still didn’t like it. The pate itself has a nice consistency. It also has a good amount of broth with is nice. The smell is normal. I might give this brand another chance but I’m definitely hesitant.

Unfortunately, opened our cans today to this weird bubbly oily mess with a sour chemical smell as well. Loved this food for our kitty, but after seeing other reviews with the same experience recently it seems we received the same batch as well. Will be switching food now. Chewy was very understanding though and gave us a refund on the bad food.
